The funny thing is the people that look exactly like their character in the WoW and I'm talking about the dwarf

When I'm a senior citezen I'll think about getting into silly games like WoW

Typical response.  Say a good game mentioned on the system you don't like isn't good because you don't like it, which you are probably saying you don't like in the first place simply because it isn't on your favorite system.  I swear, you people need to be more original.

I own a PC that would be considered in nerd talk as a "sweet gaming rig or sexy gaming machine" but i'm not paying 15 bucks a month to live in the World of Warcraft when I'm happy living on planet earth.

Hermits talk about free gaming and yet they pay 15 bucks a month for WOWzers which comes out to 180 dollars a year

You are obviously using the term "PC" loosely as PC's can almost do anything nowadays, if this was the case, every office block would be riddled with 360's.

In terms of games, the PC has more AAA, AA and A titles to an overwhelming degree, such a foolish title for a thread.

gingerdivid

Duh, the PC has been out for a long time. The 360 has been out over a year. This year you'll see more AAA titles on the 360 than on the PC.

The PC already has 3 this year...the 360 just got its first AAA of the year...lol

Which ones are those that are not multiplat?

Without multiplats, it comes down to two: Galactic Civiliazations II: Dark Avatar and World of WarCraft: The Burning Crusade.

The funny thing is, they are only expansions but yet they still have more replayablility than Gears of War.

I was actually referring to this year, and the last. :)

PC ($732.02) + 25 games ($50 each)= $1982.02

Xbox 360 ($400) + 25 games ($60 each) + Xbox Live for 4 years ($50 each year) =2100

A car 30,000 dollars then after you drive it off the lot and a year later it's only worth 15,000

A home in a nice neighborhood 250,000, a family moves in that makes the current residence move elsewhere, the house is then worth 200,000 or less

Doing over time price comparisons is stupid

You cannot compare console processors to PC processors. They both work differently as one was designed specifically for gaming. Try the Dirt demo and you will see what I am talking about...You need an 8 series video card to get the game to play smoothly but it plays perfect on the 360 with only 512Mb of ram.

NobuoMusicMaker

You can't compare PC hardware scaling to Console standard hardware is what you're actually saying.  But in terms of raw power, which is what the topic is all about, then PC can be cheaper and more powerful.  The fact that DirT doesn't run well on your computer doesn't mean Oblivion can't run better.  It probably does better than 360.

If Oblivion was built from the ground up for the 360 it would kick the PC's butt

You can't get a 400 dollar PC that would play Oblivion at all

And good luck playing Crysis on your current rig

[QUOTE="NobuoMusicMaker"]Uh I can make a PC that's more powerful than the Xbox with less cash involved.DSgamer64

Sure you can. My PC couldn't run Dirt properly and it cost a lot more than an Xbox. The E6600 processor is almost the price of the Xbox core.

Well that depends on where you look, the E6600 OEM is 299.99 CAD online right now from TigerDirect, thats the same price as the Core 360 in Canada. Either way though you can build a good gaming PC that is relatively powerful for 1200 bucks and you wouldnt have to pay for online gameplay or maps and mods as well. Plus you get limitless hard drive space and upgradeable components.

a 1200 dollar PC will need to be upgraded in a year and I doubt it will play Crysis extremely well

Something Xbox fanboys would dream of would be a out of business sign on the front of Sony headquarters
