I've never been paintballing in my life but I would most likely enjoy a paintball game.
As I understand it, paintball (as well as similar games) offer great opportunities for teamwork, and that is usually the main draw to games of this type (in addition to the lighthearted, 'hobby-esque' theme).
Get them to make one and I will buy :).
I own a PS3, in addition to both newer consoles, and I am having a blast with it so far.
Contrary to popular belief, it's a great console with no lack of games to play. My biggest gripe with it is the lack of scaling software for games like resistance that do not run in 1080i. I have a 1080i TV that does not support 720p and games like that downscale to 480p. Thankfully, a new 46" 1080p tv is on its way and the PS3 should become the new, dominant (due to its high-def capabilities) part of my entertainment center.
PS: Resistance online is just as good as everyone says.
I'd say keep Resistance, you will regret trading it in later.
Since you ruled out Oblivion as a suggestion, I would say that Virtua Fighter is an awesome choice, along with Fight Night.
Yes.
You should trade in your $600 blu-ray, next generation home entertainment system for an unproven version of a console with a proven failure rate of unrivaled proportions.
Yes i'm being sarcastic.
If your HDTV is widescreen, widescreen and hdtv both should be on.
I have an HDTV (only 1080i, my newer one hasn't arrived yet) and God of War looks fine. You have to understand that this is a previous generation game... it's not supposed to be jaw-droppingly gorgeous. Thankfully though, it looks decent, sometimes stunning because of the game's genius programmers.
I have a PS3, 360, and Wii.
To be honest with you, I would suggest the PS3 + 360, especially if you have a high definition television. Yes, the Wii is very fun, but technically speaking, it is way behind. Additionally, the motion control seems to be little more than a fad at this point, and the sixaxis is capable of most of the functionality (except pointing capabilities).
You can't go wrong either way though, go with the one that has the most games you will end up buying in the future (ex. MGS3, SSBB, FF13, Mario, etc.).
Hey all,
I have a logitech USB headseat that I use for skype/PC communications, and i'm wondering if I can use it on the PS3 (it's obviously, not a ps2 USB headset).
Is this possible?
I attempted it the other day in Resistance and Motorstorm and I didn't hear anyone, so I assume nobody had a mic. Any help and/or confirmation would be appreciated.
Thanks :).
