in terms of stays the coolest and overclocks the best? i was thinking of the msi twin frozr one or the evga ftw one but not sure which none would be the better choice. i could only find a couple reviews of the msi one and for some reason there isnt a single review anywhere of the ftw card.

i was originally gonna get a 670 but decided im already getting spending so much, might as well just get a 680 lol even if the performance difference isnt that big

GamingVengeance

If you're going tto be doing any type of overclocking then just stick with the first one. Plus i might save up for two of these bad boys. :p

I was just wondering when the price will most likely start to go down for this graphics card?

Slug_Is_TheGoat

Overclocking is a great way to speed things up but really it isn't a smart thing to do. It produces more heat and stress on the component, thus reducing the life expectancy of them. Overclocking isn't recommended.

I was buying a new GTX 670 earlier and I think I'm glad that I avoided overclocked stuff.

GamerwillzPS

Poor little fella, you're still lost. here, let me help you out.

You are really a pest in this place. Just cut the crap already.

I'm not lost. I know what I'm talking about, but I've got to admit that I'm not advanced enough to do things like overclocking as doing things like that could mess my system up. I also heard that overclocking has some risks in it - you could end up screwing up your components. Heat is a major issue because the cooling system in, for example, a GTX 670 may not be sufficient for higher clock speeds.

Now don't be an annoying pest and talk like a man.

I already admitted that I don't have the technical knowledge for overclocking but if you do, you can tell me more about it. I'm happy to learn new things about computers, but I already know the risks from overclocking. I'm not the kind of guy who likes risks. I like to play things safely.

pls go back under the rock you crawled out from.

Ditch the 7850. For only 70 more, you can get an uber leet 7950 that will last you a hell of a lot longer and it can be overclocked to 7970 specs or beyond. Do you wanna hang with Buzz lightyear or Buzz buzzkill? Because that's what the difference between the two cards is.

SolidPandaG

Are You brain damaged? I'm already over my $800 budget. I was originally going to get a 7770 so I think it's epic I squeezed in a 7850

Are you? Stop skimping and get a better job then nooblet.

Seriously? stop skimping and get a better job nooblet? another scrub at best.

Ever consider liquid cooling? Im getting a corsair h100. Surprisingly cheap. Even if u dont plan on overclocking cool parts are happy parts. And cold parts are even happier;)

Motokid6

in all honesty thisHyper 212+ EVO would be a better option.
