Now that CES is here.......... What is going to be the fastest Laptop video card?

I red that ATI Launched the 4000 series. THe 4870/w 800 SPU, Direct x 10.1, 24 X anti-aliasing, Game physics processing capability, 256-Bit GDDR5 memory, crossfire X ready.

But with Nvidia new GPUs I read that the new the GT140 is about 10% better than the 9600m GT .

Again the question is who is going to be the kind of the flagship GPU for laptops ?

is it going to be ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4870 or Nvidia Geforce 140m GT ?

Since you have a AMD AM2+ socket motherboard I would get a AMD Phenom II CPU when it comes out and then get a 4870 1024mb or 512 mb with GDDR 5.

I know that the new AMD Phenom II will support DDR2 and DDR3. So that means you can drop it in a DDR3 motherboard or DDR2 motherboard. In you case your ram will be supported
