ok this is what I have.

I have a HP pavlilion a1357c desktop PC

Case HP mid-tower

motherboard : some Asus motherboard mATX

I would like to change this board, not sure what would be the best for my money?

CPU AMD athlon x2 4200+ 939 the socket before AM2. It does not support DDR2 or the new and current socket so that is a reason I want to upgrade.

the questions are:

1. What would be the best mATX motherboard?

2. if my case fits a mATX is it possible that I could get a ATX for SLI?

3. What AMD CPU should I get?

oh yes I have a HP pavlion A1357c, and I can only fit a mATX motherboard I am sure. I would love to get a SLI motherboard, but I do not think that I can fit in the case. Also I want to keep my BFG 8800 GT OC 512MB.

The HP would be good execpt for the video cart is not good, if could could get a upgrade that pick the HP. you need a good CPU and the best GPU you can get. Try at least a 2.0 GHZ but the highest cpu you can get. But of gamming is the best GPU you can get or afford.

well, you use your get you onboard sound active. Because the New ATI cards HD 2000 to 4000 provide sound and video. so you must use onboard sound. I had a the same issue with the ATI Radeon 2600 pro.

Vizio are bad. At least get JVC or even a sony! I think that the Sony even lower end is better than vizio suck. They are cheap but for TV Cheap is not very good. But its for TV is what you pay for. Its your money
