Yeah, it'll stay powered til the controller is charged or if you're downloading something off the marketplace it'll stay powered to finish the download, but once it's done with whatever it's doing itll shut down, nothing to worry about.

After I got my 360 I immediately started saving up for an HDTV.

Like everyone else here has been saying, you can still have a great time playing on an SD, but to really get the most out of the graphics it's pretty apparent that an HDTV is important.

Like I said, I beat Dead Space pretty quick, not to say that it's short, I was just way into it. If I had only one word to describe Dead Space, that word would be "polished"

Burnout Paradise. I was such a fan of Revenge and Paradise was just a disgrace compared to that. Good graphics tho.

We're kind of getting a lot of great titles thrown at us all at once here and I was just kinda wondering what games everyones playing and in what order. Mine are:

Dead Space came first, played it the day it came out and it took me about 5 days.

Far Cry2 is what I'm on now, started playing that on day one and it's lasting a while.

Fable2 is coming next.

Fallout3 after that.

Mirrors Edge and probably Spider-man: WoS I'll play at the same time.

Left 4 Dead, I'll probably just rent that and beat it in one sitting.

After that it'll probably be Banjo-Kazooie: N&B, but I'm not entirely sure, cuz it's kinda hard to tell what else will be out by then cuz that's LONG ways away.

Kinda wish they spread out the releases of these great games a little throughout the year, cuz over the summer we didn't really have much at all. Now I'm finding myself with not enough time to play all these games. Had all the time in the world during the summer!

But anyways, what are your guys' gaming lineups?

I don't have any problem starting a new game, the problem is with continuing games that I'm in the middle of.

I actually don't do this with any of my other hobbies. I read a lot of books and I've only stopped reading a book before I finish it if it's really bad. I'd even say that I'm more into games than I am into books, it's just that I come on these forums and learn about games more than I play them. I buy pretty much any game that I think I'll enjoy and like I said I DO enjoy playing the games I buy, it's just that when I put the controller down it's really hard to pick it back up later.

Does anyone else feel that unless you really love a game your not gonna finish it?

This happens to me all the time. Right now I got Brothers in Arms Hells Highway. I know a lot of people didn't like this game for some reason or other, but I enjoyed it. I played it til about halfway through and never had a bad experience. But now it seems like a chore to pick up the controller and turn on the xbox. This happens with pretty much every game unless it's a spectacular game. I know I'll have fun if I just start, but the motivation to start really isn't there even when I'm bored and don't have anything else going on.

The strange thing is I come on here and check out the forums for all sorts of games and read what people say about them ALL the time. And I'm often excited about some game or other and I'd consider games to be a huge part of my life. But it just seems like I enjoy anticipating games and talking about games more than I enjoy actually PLAYING games.

Can anybody else out there relate to what I'm saying at all?

as for me, im really excited for the 2 originals to be on live.

mattg90520

Both originals are gonna be on xbla or just the one? and, yeah, I'm also one of the people that's more excited about the old game(s) on xbla rather than the new one. I don't think nuts & bolts will be bad at all, I bet it'll be good, but not as good as a lot of the other games coming out before the end of the year. I'll definately be picking all the banjo games available up.
