I'm glad I read this thread. It crossed my mind to get Gamefly for all the great games coming out before the year is over but now I'll never consider it again. Thanks online community!

I'd say that 85% of the xbla games that come out are terrible, 10% are not bad and worth the purchase and about 5% are actually great games. Those are just rough estimates but I don't think many people would argue with that.

What I'm trying to say is with that good/bad game ratio why wouldn't you try the demo? Even if so many people say the game is awesome, you should ALWAYS try the demo. Unless of course it's a classic game that you've played before and know you'll enjoy like DOOM or Duke Nukem 3D.

Yeah, it's a shame, Oblivion was a launch title (or close to it, don't remember) and it seemed like they were setting the standard for how much dlc games should come out with. And now the 360 has been out for like what, 3 years? And the only other games that I can think of right now that has as much dlc with them are music based games and Lumines :/

BTW, I'm just curious and I'm not trying to be a jerk with this question but, I played all the way through Mass Effect a few months ago and I thought it was a great game, but why go back to it? To get all the achievements you'd have to play through it like at least 3 times. Like I said, it's a great game, but I can't imagine that it would change to much whether you're good or evil...

To tell you the truth tho, there aren't a whole lot of games I'd play through more than once.

Not just for the 360, im talking ever. My favorites in order are

Oblivion (put my xbox thru some hard work right off the bat)

Super Mario World for the SNES (coming in at a close second. I still love that game)

Halo: Combat Evolved (classic, but for it's time I don't think it was as awesome as SMW way back in '91)

Zelda: Link to the Past (I'm pretty sure that was a launch title, right? awesome game none the less)

Mario 64 (don't even know what to say about this one)

Don't get mad at me cuz I put halo below mario, I factored in the time they came out and I think SMW was better for its time than Halo. And launch title or not, Oblivion is up there when it comes to my favorite games of all time.
