Hmmm... that's strange Samml, I did exactly the same thing you said on your first post and I can connect to Xbox Live (actually, I'm downloading a demo on my xbox at this very momment). To be honest, it took me 2 or 3 tries before my xbox got a working ip address, but after that, it's been working perfectly... what operating system is running on your laptop???
uhmm... happens to me with just about every metal gear title (except for VR Missions, worst $3 spent), gran turismo 4, katamari damacy and ace combat 4.
I've been buying stuff from Amazon for more than 2 years now and I don't have any complaints at all. In fact, I love it. Videogames are way too freaking expensive on my country and I can buy 'em online for half the price (or even cheaper than that). Thank God for the Internet! :D
