PSN is great, but its not even on the level of XBL.It's that XBL users believe that since they pay they have to justify it and bash PSN. Even though PSN is a great free service.

[QUOTE="Nidget"][QUOTE="jalexbrown"]Its relevant because it shows the 360 received more A+ games this year than the PS3. I mean sales don't directly affect us either yet we still discuss them. It doesn't matter if we play them all or not. But now yor talking pure qauntity? where does the quality boundary come into play? Its already in play, i only listed games that received a 7.0 or higher here on GS. Unless your a gamer who thinks all games below 9.0 are trash ...All I'm saying is that most people on here will never play all 102 AAA/AA/A 2009 360 releases (for that matter most probably won't play all of the 85 AAA/AA/A PS3 releases, either). Citing the number of AAA/AA/A games is great, but I don't see how it's relevant, because nobody buys that many games in one year.

The fact the 360 has a much higher number should show that no, not all the games are also on the PS3. There are exclusives and PC/360 multiplats in there too which is probably why the 360 number is much higher. This is not an exclusive list, this is just a games list. And again, it proves the 360 received a better addition to its library this year than the PS3.[QUOTE="Nidget"][QUOTE="ironcreed"]
Are you including multiplats that are also on the PS3 here as well? In terms of games that are "only on Xbox 360" that were released this year, you do not have a leg to stand on and you know it. You cannot count games that are also on the PS3 against the PS3.

Ah, you say NOT ALL of the games you are citing are also on the PS3. Quite a few of them are, though, correct? Minus those multiplats, what kind of a picture are we looking at? Then of course you have multiplats that are also on PC as well. Exclusives are what separates the systems, and in terms of exclusive games, the 360 did not touch the PS3 this year. I also own and love the 360, but it is what it is, pal.
The PS3 had 4 AAAEs this year, whereas the 360 had 3. Hardly the runaway success you're trying to claim it to be. Regardless, i think that a consoles entire library is more important than just narrowing it down to exclusives, but whatever.[QUOTE="Nidget"][QUOTE="jalexbrown"]I've already accepted the PS3 probably won is exclusives (i havent counted). Im not saying its not relevant to SW, im saying its not relevant to MY point, which is completely fair. Im talking about all games, not just exclusives, therefore why should i count exclusives? It doesnt make sense. I guess the point of SW is to win no matter which set of numbers you have to use to do it. No, i'd like to think that people here are still capable of using some logic. Yes exclusives matter, but they are only part of a bigger picture. I dont know about you guys, but when i go into a store i dont go looking for games with the "only on xbox" logo or whatever, i look for games that look good. If you want to determine who won a year, things like their entire library for the year, their sales for the year, their system updates for the year etc. should be used.So why don't you come back with a number of AAAE/AAE/AE games for each system...oh wait, you're probably going to say that's not relevant.

[QUOTE="Nidget"] No because i don't decide whats relevant and whats not. This is system wars, and if you don't like the rules then theres nothing keeping you here.
