Dude it isint a huge gap. Its already been said. Only fanboys would think that like you. This whole thread was about how cows were wrong on PS3 smashing 360 in sales and thats about it. 110k is not a huge gap in the month sales.

If its sooo meaningless then why are you still here? Oh, and lets not forget the 360 still has the better library than the PS3 so no need to bring games into this (according to gaming reviews). It also outsells the PS3 on a regular basis in the US. I think you're getting confused, it was the cows who got all hyped and happy when the PS3 outsold the 360 in the US in Sep/Oct. You're being incredibly hypocritical here, oh and please don't downplay the US's importance, it just comes across as weak damage control.

And that is why this thread has grown as large and as fast as it has. It is not a simple case of lemmings playing sales, it is a direct result of COWS mooing to any who would listen that a slaughter was in the offing, only to be given a big fat come-uppance. You really can't work it out for yourself? Here, ill give you three reasons
The US games market is bigger than Japan, therefore more important
Most of the users here on Gamespot are from the US, therefore are probably more interested in NPD numbers
Nobody expected the 360 to outsell the PS3 in Japan, whereas cows were certain the PS3 would outsell the 360 in the US.
I hate getting sucked into sales talk but just for you... .The US market is bigger, but it's alot more even. In 1 week alone in Japan, the PS3 outsold the 360 by around 50k. 1 week alone. How do you think the math will look at the end of the month? PS3 > 360. BUT either way, these diferences ARE NOT SIGNIFICANT. Nobody is going to get more AAAE cause of these small number diferences. Claiming ownage is soo pathetic imo. I don't care if most of you are form the US, this forum is for ppl from all over the world. I don't care what popular in the US. And I find it hard to believe noone thought a console that was going for 99$ after a 1million+ banwave was going to outsell a 300$ one... You guys need to admit you jumped the gun and really didn't look at all the angles.. There is no ownage here.
