I couldn't care less about the reviews for this game, good or bad.  Mario Party is one my favorite franchises because it's one of the few that I can really enjoy with my non-gamer husband.  I love the board game design, it's what puts it above other mini-game compilations imo.  Gamespot's criticsm of its reliance on chance makes no sense to me.  That's how board games work.  Plus, there are plenty of other modes that aren't as reliant on chance.  I bought the game today and after playing it for a few hours I'm very impressed.  It may repeat the formula but that's how you know you're in for a good time.

I didn't find it nearly as difficult as people make it out to be, nor did I hate it, however it certainly wasn't my favorite temple of the game.

My Wii is about as silent as it can get but my bother's is super loud.  It never used to be loud.  It sounds almost broken but it works fine so he doesn't care.  If it were mine I think it would drive me crazy.

Yoshi Touch and Go.  I think it was the first time I ever felt ripped off by a Nintendo developed game.

The game will most definately use the wiimote.  It has to use the controller that comes with the system.  That's not to say it won't use the classic controller or gamecube controller.  I'd bet that those will offer a better control scheme for those who care to invest in the extra controllers however they would never limit accessability to the game for people who don't.  If SSBB didn't use the wiimote they would face a PR nightmage.  Imagine all the casual gamers who would buy the game only to get it home and discover it's not compatible with their Wii?  They'd rightfully be outraged.

I'm hyped for it.  I loved the ones for the cube (I actually thought they were better than the old ones).  Add to that motion control and this game is a must-have.  I don't let reviews dictate to me which games I find fun so I couldn't care less if this game is AA, AAA or not.

I don't need one yet but I'm probably going to need one soon.  I'm down to about 300-400 blocks of memory.  Even though Nintendo does let you redownload all your VC games I think I'd prefer the peace of mind to have them on an sd card.

I love my Wii.  I have tons of Wii games and VC games that I play all the time. Plus there are even a few games I plan to pick up that I haven't gotten around to playing yet like Elebits, Trauma Centre, and Excite Truck, not to mention all the games coming out in the next few months that I want. I don't get the people complaining about a game drought.  I've found plenty to keep me entertained.

Well, I don't plan on spending any more money on nintendo products anyway. But unfortunately, if I cannot get a working ds lite replacement by thursday, I will have to buy a sony psp. As for the consumer services, well ... - I could not register a wii on nintendo-europe website, there was a programming error on their side. - I could not register to nintendo forums, only US and canadians subscribers being supported, and I live in Europe. And as I asked whether I should go and get a replacement for my ds tomorrow, this is the answer I got from http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/thanks.jsp : """ THANK YOU! Thank you for your email. Your message has been forwarded to a Nintendo of America Customer Service Representative. Due to the unprecedented popularity of the Wii, we're currently experiencing extremely high email volumes and it may take several days before we are able to respond. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and will respond to your email as soon as possible. """ So, basically, I would have to wait a couple of weeks before they give me a first step ...kyncani

If you can't exchange it where you bought it you should call Nintendo's customer service directly.  They are very helpful and will replace or fix your DS very quickly. I know from experience.  All it took was a five minute phonecall, and a 2 day wait to get my DS replaced.
