Totally agree with this dude. WAY too many games focused on violence. We need more "art" and creativity in games.
This is the primary reason on why I just don't enjoy First-Person Shooters anymore. Older FPS games like MOH: Frontline and stuff were okay, since the game actually conveyed a message, but nowadays there's no message or feeling that the FPS games are trying to convey anymore. It's as if you just blow people up violently and then do it again until you see the credits roll. It's mindless shooting over and over again.
I'm interested and familiar with them both but if I had to pick, definitely Dragon's Dogma. Having played older Ghost Recons, I can see why Future Soldier's popular but I'm getting a bit tired of shooters.
