Sure am surprised to see that the user score nearly matches Sir Watters' review score. I thought this would end up like Street Cleaning Simulation, Revelations 2012, and Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing.

@MafiaMusic Um, no it's not. Metal Gear Solid 3 is a GREAT game - and in some cases it's even better than MGS4, but Subsistence on the Xbox 360 doesn't make it Metal Gear Solid's new home. I'm not saying that MGS belongs on the PS3, but you can't say that the Xbox 360 is MGS' new home judging from one game from the series that you happen to like. Besides, MGS1 and MGS2 were great as well. So was 4.

Just try to enjoy the HD Collection as a whole, not as its three separate games, 'kay? ;)

Lol, same here :( This game actually looks pretty exciting, though I don't have the money to buy another computer so it can handle this game. I definitely feel the respect for the PC users though; good for them to get a neat-looking mech title like this!

Nintendo's not a console but I see what you mean ;) I don't really think they've gotten "lame"; I just think they decided to take a different approach with the Wii. Sure, the Wii may not have an amazing library, but at least it provided some fun with the motion-control.

Problem was that many developers would then have to adapt to how they would make use of the Wiimote. This was certainly a problem in ports; the Wii usually got the end of the stick in this case. The Wiimote forced the developers to find some way to provide the player to control the game differently than how they would with a standard controller.

Don't really think Nintendo ignored the JRPG fans. With Project Rainfall (which failed at first), some EU/JP RPG titles were able to make it in the States (I'm assuming you're in the States). I apologize in advance if I'm wrong with any of this stuff though ;)

@invictuslemming

I think Nintendo's got it in the bag. They're definitely going to win some core fans and new fans over, as well as older fans who may have gotten turned off from the Wii.

Personally I thought the Wii U was gonna suck when I saw it's announcement initially. Now that Nintendo's unveiling more info about it, I'm actually getting pretty interested. Getting the Wii late made me realize that Nintendo may have fallen into a pitfall but it also made me realize on how they could improve.

@ArabrockermanX

I think Nintendo struck the perfect balance of announcing new info about the Wii U+3DS titles and hardware info.
