its your P4 in most cases. your required to have a dual Core cpu or atleast 512MB of video ram to run the high settings. crysis was meant for highend pcs. and if you bought yours back in 2005, its dated. thats generally how PC gaming goes. you must upgrade your rig. don't be upset tho. its mostly just eye candy, crysis in the lower resolution still puts most pc games to shame. so really it is your computer and you should of expected it to happen because you have a single core 3.0ghz P4 and p4's have been around for awhile. i suggest you get awhole new computer with pci express and maybe even intel duo core processor. and just install the ram out of your computer that you already have unless its generic aftermarket stuff. and as far as vista goes, your not missing out because vista is still buggy. xp still is alot more stable.

opposing force was a fantastic expansion for the half-life series. but what if you were allowed to play as the combine in half-life 2? being able to control the striders would be fun.

[QUOTE="SerOlmy"]I played the demo and like many with avg hardware was not very impressed. I watched my friend play a good 2-3 hours on good hardware and was impressed, but not as much as I was with the Orange Box. *shrug* ElectricNZ

OMG it IS DEMO!

Not full game omg...

I am on your side, but reading your caps = a joke. People wont take your posts seriously if you do that, that's just how it is.

Im very happy with Gamespot's review of Crysis. I then headed over to IGN to read their review which they gave 9.4, ok 9.4 is great BUT. I also read that CoD4 got 9.4. Now I'm not saying CoD4 is bad, it's just that they gave Crysis gameplay 9.0 and CoD4 gameplay 9.5.

How can this be? I have finished CoD4 and I guess I'm about halfway through Crysis. How can CoD4 recieve more gameplay points than Crysis when in CoD4 it's basically shoot, take cover, lob grenade, shoot, take cover, run, take some more cover. Yes it has some "cool" moments such as using the Javelin but how does this compare to the epic slew of variants Crysis' gameplay offers? You can plan your attack, it's not so linear. The weapons can be customized any time, there are very large open spaces for vehicles etc etc.

Someone want to discuss this with me? I can't think of anyway how CoD4 has better gameplay than Crysis, to me that's just lunacy.

in most case's, you don't half to play COD4 to know crysis is going to be better, because of the timeframe those games are limited to. in any case, crysis isn't limited to its modern setting, you can do so much more.

[QUOTE="NikoBellic"][QUOTE="Udsen"][QUOTE="NikoBellic"]

[QUOTE="Kaosed"]awsome another game to claim ownage on the cows!:lol:Udsen

i hate to be rude but, where is the 50 player mutlplayer in perfect dark zero?

Where's the 50 player multiplayer in resistance?

was there supose to be 50 players in mutlplayer in resistance? that i never heard of. but i do remember bragging rareware on pdz. then they changed it lower to more like 32 rather then resistance's 40 player online mutlplayer.

Wow, 8 players. That just breaks my heart, man. Fact is, Xbox 360 owners don't just have PDZ to play. They have Gears, Halo 3, etc. to play, while you're still playing a launch game, which is all my PS3 is getting used for.

but i am not playing a launch game, unlike you i own All three game consoles. don't require the nonsense of bashing cow/lemming/sheep. its just pointless, i just like to argue with people for fun on here. 360 owners tend to have alot of games, but most playstation3 owners have moved on to playing WarHawk. and if thats not the case, they are playing RFOM's Mappack.

[Edit] but i will say this, RFOM is a better launch title then PDZ, PDZ could of been a better game and i really mean a better game by all means, but RFOM has a bright future and thats not a good thing for Rarewares case.

but the demo is the selling point of the game, it determines the sell of the game in most cases.

is that because u are a half-life fanboy???

i like half-life and all, but i dont think it is the best, it is great and all, but it was really great back in 2004, but its 2007, its still great, but hasnt really changed since 2004, still is ahead of its time in some cases, but its 2007 and now theres crysis, and its WAY ahead of its time, and im sorry that you cant see it now in its full glory, but that doesnt make it a bad game compared to half-life 2 because u can see it in its full glory now.

i wish half-life 2 had some sort of expansion like, half-life 2:combine
