On second thought, the new MGS probably has a good shot at the title. There are so many great games comming out though, its anyone's ball game.

[QUOTE="Ninja_Zombie83"]I'm horrible starting out on RPG's. I always play a character for a few hours, then restart and make a new one until I find a combo that "clicks". So far, I'm leaning towards engeneer or sentinel as a chick. (I don't "become" my character when I play games so I prefer the eye candy).-Unreal-
Don't play Neverwinter Nights 2 then, or any of those PC RPGs. There's like 25 classes and each can be combined.

Yeah I've played a ton of MMORPG's on PC, including NWN and the expansions. If the experience with DCUO is so similar, then I'll pass and thanks for saving me some money.

Mass Effect 2 and 3 have a lot of promise, but so does the new Elder Scrolls.

So far DC Universe :PMethodManFTW
Is DC really that good? I've been on the fence on getting it. I've played WoW for a few years and I'm afraid of reviving a stale experience. I figure I would give it a few months and see what they add to the game and work out the bugs

Talk about jumping the gun!If I had to take a wild guess, I would say Mass Effect 3 just based on how well the series has done and the fact it will be cross platform.

I havn't heard of this problem, nor have I experienced it myself....but if you say it works fine offline and you get this problem online, I'd suggest your internet connection. If you have already checked your options and you get this problem with any controller, really your connection is the only place I would suggest looking at.

Oh come now, it's their fault. They've had no security in their games since COD4 and it was as easy as editing a notepad. Who are we kidding here folks? Is this really a surprise?

Infinity Ward "can't fix it" because they're incompetent programmers who like to rush broken games from the get go. Not to mention, their SS publisher (Activision) literally had some of the team kicked out of their studio by force. I mean come on guys, nobody saw this coming? It was bound to get worse and they don't give a flying f***. They never have before, why should they now?

As long as they've got your dollar, they'll keep shoveling the same broken garbage every year, pretending it's a new game (even dumbing it down even further). Just keeps getting shorter and shorter..

Denji

If someone breaks into your house do you blame yourself for not having tight enough security or do you blame the theif? I don't understand your logic by blaming the developer for not preventing the enevitable.

Where's your logic in comparing a break and entry to a video game's lack of security? Did you read any of what I've typed and understood it?

I can't give you common sense to see how a theif (like a hacker) is going to use a security weakness to achieve his goals. Its not a stretch of imagination to relate a computer criminal to a regular criminal and see how the priciple of blaming the victim is a scapegoat for not blaming the criminal. If you don't get this yet, you can substitute these similarities instead:

a. Its the victim's fault for being raped, not the raper?

b. Its the bank's fault for being robbed, not the robber?

c. Its IW for being hacked, not the hacker?

Last time I checked, not having security isn't illegal or even wrong but there is something called a ToS that clearly states its wrong to hack. You are implying that hackers just can't help themselves and its not their fault security was so low. Yeah poor hackers.

Are you pretending that every other developer has an invincible security system that IW doesn't get to have because they bring in so much more money or do you really think illegal activity is a by-product of a lack in protection instead of a distortion of moral conduct? I don't care if all you need to do to cheat is shake the console at the start-up screen. If they tell you not to do it, you agree and you do it anyways, then its WRONG TO DO and its YOU who are at fault for your actions,NOT them.

If you can't explain your post then don't substitute a rhetorical response equally void of reason.Speaking of reason,Activision fired two lead developers over royalties. This has nothing to do with programming, security or IW as a whole and it speaks for the actions of TWO PEOPLE.
