I have all digital myself. Considering that physical games now require a person to download the whole game anyway, it makes sense. Plus you can pre-load new games and play them at midnight without having to leave home to get a copy.

From Gears to these f2p and mobile games. Sad to see how badly they have fallen.

No shortages in Australia, all retailers have stock. That is what happens when you charge $470 for a console that is $300 in the US (plus you can get a XB1 Slim + game for $400 here). In their advertising, they don't even mention the price here.
