The Wii can't do that for technical reasons. Because the Wii virtually becomes a GameCube when it plays GameCube games, it can't run any of the other software that the Wii uses, such as being able to go to the Wii Menu in the middle of a game by pushing the home button on the Wii Remote and the Wii being able to list and record how long you play the games that you play.

OoT would never work out for a remake and they already did it for gamecubeN64Skullkid

That was a port, not a remake. They're two completely different things.

wait....isnt changing the dungeons a major change? by that logic oot and tp are slight variatons

blingchu55

Could you please explain that?

the only differences are over world, story, graphics and dungeons

That's what the entire game is composed of, the over world, story, graphics and dungeons.

There was a remake. It was called master quest for the gamecube. There were no updated graphics just updated dungeons, it was much harder but still very fun, you should look it up.

kingqaz

ive heard of it, i though it was just a slight variation. more badguys with better ai

Wouldn't updated graphics be a slight variation? Everything was the same except for :what you said, the dungeons are different (they look the same but when you do they you realize how different they are), and the location of the gold skulutas (sp?)

I own the game. It the exact same game, graphics and all. The only difference was that it had altered dungeon layouts and altered Skulltula locations

To quote Nintedo Power on a very similar request, "There's still a lot of room for innovation in this industry, and retreads of older games isn't the way to show it."
