[QUOTE="Laughlin_12"]I know it won't make the graphics better, but I just want a clearer picture. I have an EDTV so all it does it 480p, but everything on the Wii looked so washed out. Is it much better with the cables?Laughlin_12
That's the maximum resolution the Wii can display at. I only have an SDTV but the cables do improve the visuals quite a bit so I would recommend it. Make sure to get cables manufactured by Nintendo because many people seem to have problems with third-party cables.
That I know. I've heard it looks horrible on a real HDTV, but since I have an EDTV I figured it's about the best the Wii can look.
By the way are these sold in stores or online only?
I'm pretty sure they are sold in stores, but you can get a much better deal if you purchase it on-line.

Please only use the Wii forum as place to discuss the games and platform. If you want to post topics that involve the GameCube and its games, please use the proper forum for this.
I have to thank you for making this thread. Hopefully with a more useful setup as this one, people will find this sticky a little bit more relevant and less obsolete, cleaning up the recommendation threads that keep on appearing in the board.
As I asked on the previous stickied thread, does anyone here own the DS browser? I want to know if it would be a good buy. I want to buy it and be able to post on the GameSpot forums with it. Has anyone used it to that effect and can anyone describe its functionality in that respect?
