Gte whichever one you want.. Sounds like you already made up your mind on PS3 though :|Armored_cell
I acutally have both systems and I just wanted to say my 2 cents.
60gb PS3 _________________________$500
80gb PS3 +game __________________$600
20gb 360 _________________________ $400
20gb 360 + network adaptor _______ $500
120 gb Elite 360 __________________ $480
120 gb Elie 360 +network adaptor___ $580
No one can say that the 360 is cheaper, because it is not depending on what your needs are. Hard to compare systems prices.
If I could only afford one system right now I would buy a XBOX 360. for good reasons.
360______________________________________________________
PRO: The 360 has way more games and better games for the time being and xbox live is very good.
CON: System is unreliable and always the fear of the 3RROD
PS3_______________________________________________________
PRO: Great system, awesome features and a way better built and better system overall over the 360.
CON: No games, outdated controller, does not support 1080i
In short PS3 is the better system, but 360 has way more and better games for now. 2007 is the year to get the 360 and 2008 hopefully will be PS3 year if they can bring out a ton of good games.
I found this in the playstation3 forum at playstation.com I think this will explain everything. 1080i is not supported.

I read off the sony main website that all 720p games are downscaled to 480p if the TV does not support 720p. Does anybody have any proof or that a 720p games palys in 1080i?
Does anybody know if Sony will ever fix the 480p/1080i issue with an update, or is it too late and a chip is required?
I am a little upset that because I have an older HDTV that I am not able to play the PS3 in 1080i. All games are downscaled to 480p, same as PS2. I already spent alot on the system and games and I really dont want to buy a new TV just to be able to play the PS3 in HDTV quality.
It should work fine. I have one and it works like a charm.kornholio360
DO you use it through any walls? what distance is it roughly away from your router?
Hello,
I was thinking of buying a network adaptor for my new 360 elite I am getting this weekend. Can someone tell me how well it works and if it will it work going from my living room directly above to the second floor to my computer room where I have a D-Link 4300 gaming router.
Thanks
