But its ok that god came from nothing? Gods are supposed to do magic all the time, I'm also not sure what got you mean there are so many after all.

There is evidence for the big bang and star/planet formation and evolution.

There is no evidence for god.

broken_bass_bin

What evidence? Come on, provide me all the evidence, prove to me right now the Big Bang is what created us. You don't even know what became before the Big Bang, because then that enables me to say 'But it's okay that the Big Bang came from nothing?' You have no evidence to just what produced the Big Bang, so therefore I can assume, just like you did with God, it came from nothing.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Bang#Timeline_of_the_Big_Bang

I have no doubt you'll dismiss all this scientific evidence in preference of "God did it".

I can post a number of links, which support that Jesus did exist, that the Scripture is true and etc. But just like you, I'll have no doubt you'll dismiss all evidence in the preference that this must all be an accident. I believe God did it, you believe in some accident. I'll stick with my beliefs, and you stick with yours. Simple.

God is not a man, and magic/witchcraft is a sin. If you're going to try and insult me, do your research first. And besides, I'd rather believe in God, than an explosion created the whole universe. Damn, and you say God is far fetched.

[QUOTE="NiteLights"]So, something exploded out of nothing?

broken_bass_bin

No. The Big Bang theory is NOT that "something exploded out of nothing".

We simply don't know what there was before the Big Bang. We'll continue strive to find out, but until we know, the reponse will be "we don't know"... Not "God must have done it".

So, what? There was something before the Big Bang, for some reason there was a huge explosion and it created us, and the world around us?The Big Bang theory is just as far fetched as anything else. You can't prove to me right now that the Big Bang created us, and neither can I provide rock solid evidence God created us. So I'd say we're on equal terms.

[QUOTE="NiteLights"] So, something exploded out of nothing? Yep, because an explosion could create a planet which was perfectly habitable and breathable air, which not only us but all animals on Earth can breathe. ' Coincidentally ' we're just at a suitable distance from the Sun, our athmosphere has a suitable temperature for life on earth and the athmosphere also protects us from harmful radiations and debris. Earth also has well developed biogeochemical cycles. Our human bodies have mistakes, but yet they are so complicated they would have mistakes. I don't see how this can all be an ' accident ' .

Translation:

I don't have any answers and the questions seem huge. Rather then try to find the anwers to these questions I'll will chose to believe that a magic man in the sky did it all.

God is not a man, and magic/witchcraft is a sin. If you're going to try and insult me, do your research first. And besides, I'd rather believe in God, than an explosion created the whole universe. Damn, and you say God is far fetched.

[QUOTE="DmadFearmonger"]

I killed my Atheism recently. I understand it all makes sense. The world cannot be a scientific accident. Everything's so perfect... Just look at the human body. It all just works with each other and reproduces as if it were designed like that intentionatly. (Don't bring up diseases, please. You'll cnfuse the matter).

But the answer to those questions about atheism were answered already heaps of times.

SirWander

How did you kill an intangible concept? The human body is far from perfect, here's some examples as to why: The appendix, it's utterly useless and can kill you. Tail bone, why do we have one? Humans die in childbirth. And humans can die from choking on their food because our breathing hole and eating hole, the Pharynx, are connected. I'm not convinced you understand anything.

Which one should I pick up this week? I was thinking Forza Motorsport 3, but wanted to hear what OT thinks.

[QUOTE="DarkMessiah665"][QUOTE="illmatic87"]Crysis 2, Oblivion, Invisible War, CoD: MW2.wooooode
You sir, have an awful taste in games. The worst Crysis, worst Elder Scrolls, worst Deus Ex, and worst CoD (not that CoD was good in the first place). To get back on topic, the number one game anyone should own, in my opinion, is a tie between Half-Life 2 and Deus Ex.

The original COD is amazing.

Yeah. I'd say DM665 is the one who doesn't have a good taste. :? Saying that COD was never good is blasphemy, the original COD and COD4 were excellent, and as for Crysis 2 and Oblivion they were both excellent games as well, critic's and users can easily agree with me on this one.

Yeah, I would probably have actually bought it if it was. Although, the gameplay is a little archaic, it needs destructable environments or something to spice it up a little bit. Otherwise, it's just an unbalanced CoD4.DragonfireXZ95
That would change things up quite a bit, but I can't see how they can beat DICE's Frostbite 2 engine.

Even though we haven't seen any footage from Modern Warfare 3, I can already tell I'm going to tell that I'm going to like Battlefield 3 better.

Why?

Battlefield 3 =

  • Destructible Enviroments
  • Amazing graphics
  • DICE knows how to do large scale warfare. (64 Player)
  • Guns actually have recoil.
  • Realism.

Infinity Ward is really going to have to step it up. I'm sick of the same COD every year. But who knows, they might surprise us. Hopefully.
