I'm getting it at launch, my parents still give me money for my birthday at the begining of the month so I'll put that towards getting it.

What you want is something like Hexen for the Wii with online multiplayer.

Have you played Halo? You shoot things, then you shoot some more things oh an then guess what you shoot some more things.

Even in the RPGfest Fallout3 you spend 90% of your time shooting things.

It's called a First Person Shooter for a reason, what did they expect to be doing counting blades of grass? The mind boggles.

[QUOTE="wiifan001"]Another thing about Goldeneye was the fact that objectives were actually added on higher difficulty. I don't see that happening on hardly any games at all, yet alone FPS games. Dang, Goldeneye, in some areas are STILL ahead of its time, and go beyond even today. And The Conduit, imo, shouldn't have split screen multiplayer. It was certainly a great thing in the past (again, referring to the N64 Goldeneye and Perfect Dark, but that's not really up for the FPS genre anymore. kardine
Splitscreen is a dying feature but that doesn't make it ok. Splitscreen is even a struggle in simple looking games like Onslaught and the sequel to Onslaught only has two player splitscreen.

Actually that's not true the split screen of QOS works quite well as far as I understand it.

No I'm more hoping for something like MSR/PGR than this, unless of course in the future I see it for a tenner.

See now I think they could have done a couple of things, given the graphics chip more memory to address so that even at SD it could have had plenty of really good textures and given it really good hardware anti-aliasing.

Other than that I think hardware wise they did the right thing - history prooves that correct.

What they have failed to do is to get games for gamers onto the system that don't involve needless wii-waggle a-la Da Blob (which uses it for the jump and encourage devs to see the true potential of the platform.

We still don't have a single decent car racing game, or even something like F-Zero, we of course have Mario Kart.

They've also failed to do things like bring Fatal Frame to the West.

Oh and while I'm on a roll...................

I can not see the appeal of playing this game, you might as well get the original via the VC.

It's a bit like I can't understand the fuss about SSBB when I have Melee and have never played it.

Apart from MP3:C I haven't seen a Nintendo 1st party game that really makes me think I want to spend £40 on it.
