Here's the way I look at it, HV and SEGA want sales, Gamestop want sales, pre-orders=sales!!

Now to get more sales by way of pre-orders they decide to add something a little different to the game, doesn't change the gameplay just gives you a cool reason to part with some money before the release date.

I like it, it's a cool idea to generate sales.

With regards to the Conduit being a Generic FPS, if that's the case then so is Halo, Halflife, Killzone, Resistance, COD and all their sequals.

There's nothing out there that looks like the Conduit, is set in the same timezone/location as the Conduit or has the control options of the game or the ASE or lots of other stuff that you are intimating is generic.

And if you only play FPSs for the multiplayer buy a 360 and play COD or Halo because that's where the multiplayer is at really.

It says their second language is Nintendo++ their first language sure as hell isn't English on either side of the Atlantic.

PSN is not free it's simply paid for by a different buisness model.

There's no such thing as Free.

The Wi-Fi adapter in the PS3 maybe a nice inclusion but it costs Sony money and is not always necessary as in my case where my 360 sits next to my router.

Lack of quality exclusives, most games avaivable on pc/ps3

PS3 has 2 exclusive that are quality and 1 of those is debated as to how good it is.

Live costs money and doesnt even offer dedicated servers :lol:

PSN isn't free the costs are just hidden in Home shirt sales.

Powerbrick is HUGE,ps3 has it built in.

Controller is in many ways old design/tech with a crappy D-pad, no pressure sensitive buttons except triggers. and it uses batteries :lol:

What happens if you are mid game playing with a Sixaxis/Dual Shock and it dies on you, what happens when the batteries in the controller (BECAUSE YES IT DOES HAVE THEM) start to wear out, rechargables only have a given life span of recharges and they will die on you!!! Oh and by the way my controllers are wireless without batteries because I spent £6 making it that way hardly broke the bank!

Add to that the fact that the Dualshock has barely changed, except to add triggers in 15 years and the current 360 controller is an evoloution of form that fits my hands like a glove, I know which I'd rather use for playing Fallout 3 for hours on end with. Oh and when playing fallout 3 what do I use the D-pad for again? Oh yes changing weapons!!!! Such an important control function isn't it.

Oh and pressure sensative buttons, don't make me laught how much fine dexterity control on your thumbs does the average gamer truely have!!!

No built in Wifi

Wifi is not the best way of playing games and I don't need it so why should I pay for it? My router is NEXT to my 360!!!!!! I'll take the better connection speed and reliability of a good 'ol CAT5 thanks. It also saves on the cost of the console!

Fix those and i might consider 1 again.

All these issues are beginging to sound like a broken record.

Right NOTHING in this world is free.

You may think you get PSN for free from Sony, however, it has to be paid for somehow, and the way they intend on doing this is via stuff like $2 shirts in home. Micropayments are the biggest thing since sliced bread in miling gamers for every penny.

Why do you think you buy games with points rather than $'s or £'s or Euros or Yen it's because there's a theory of disassociation, I mean look at the Oblivion Armour!!!!

It should be an MMO that you can play in Wii and DSi when on your travels.

So which 3rd party game do you think makes the best use of the Wiimote+Nunchuck?
