I'm personally curious about Crimson Skies.

Are the Xbox originals on the same XBL network as it would be if you were playing on a disk? And if so can anyone tell me if there's a lot of people playing now?

In order for it to sell 1 million in the same day it needs to beat the cumulative attach rate of any playstation game in the 21st century in a single day.

There's been 3rd party software that does more than both for months. It may not be decoding on the cosole but it gets the job done.

while suking alot of resources and you dont even get it at equal quality, oh and try decoding a 1080p video

I want native divx and I have native divx, so loong now I could remove that blasted tversit from my computer.

I agree, Tversity is good if it's your only option but it is awful because of how much recourses it takes just to decode a normal video let alone an HD one.

The thing is, the Ps2 had exactly the same advantages and disadvantages.

It was the console with the best games but was the least reliable by miles and charged crazy amounts for accessories (100$ for an external hard drive and 40$ for an Ethernet port when both included on Xbox). The 360 even has online play that is miles ahead of the competetion.

This is why the X360 is beating the Ps3 so badly, it basically merges the advantages of the Xbox1 (best online) and the Ps2 (best games) together a year earlier than the competetion but keeps the disadvantages that the Ps2 had. Essentially making it so if you bought a Ps2 or Xbox last gen the X360 is your console to get this gen.

The graphics are absolutley hideous. It is seriously comparable to Goldeneye as far as graphics go.

That said, it may turn out to be a very interesting game. It's just that when it comes to screenshots, it's difficult to judge anything other than graphics.

No, KI was the worst game made by Rare during the N64 era and to this day, is the second worse console title they've created beaten only by Grabbed by the Ghoules. Both GR and GS second this statement from reviews.

If Rare couldn't make it work in their best era ever, they won't get it to work now.

I like TVersity. Requires some setup on a pc though, not bad.

MyopicCanadian

Same. TVersity is far from flawless, but it works pretty well

I used it back when I wanted to use my tv for Divx/Xvid Tv and movies. However, since I got a new computer, I haven't gotten around to resetting up.

Windows Media player is much more convinent if you don't need those extra codecs :P

One thing to consider is the Fall update coming out in a few days will have Xbox1 games availible for download. If you didn't own an Xbox last gen I would buy the Elite just for that future. Same goes if you think downloading tv shows/movies/in hd from video market place.

With me, I'll start feeling the smaller hard drive when those classics come out. Crimson Skies with revived online play =:)

I dont get it? Why are the untrustworthy now? Because Jeff used inappropriate language in a poor tone and got fired?

If you paid a company to put ads on the site, and under the ad it said "DONT BUY THIS GAME IT SUCKS AND IS UGLY AS HELL, I WOULDNT EVEN BOTHER PLAYING IT FOR FREE, WASTE OF TIME!" Wouldn't you want that person fired. I mean just look at the tone he used in the review, it was just a bash fest, it was like watchinga fanboy or something.dipper145

Of course they would want that person fired. However, it's CNETs job to tell them to go **** themselves.
