Why would anyone want to play Monster Hunter with a WiiMote and Nunchuk? :|

Michael0134567
Because not everybody started Monster Hunter when it originally started, like myself, and because the WiiMote and Nunchuck was a good control method for it. Not knocking classic controls because alot of people used that method as well.

I really don't see how it could be a good control method. I tried using it and it just wasn't fun.

I disliked them too, so much that it turned me away from the game completely. Glad I skipped it even though others had fun with it, now I can play it for the first time with the controls I like w/o having to buy a separate controller.

I agree but for a different reason, after getting a Vita and using party chat on any game to talk to someone (even on different games), or even when we disconnect from a game is great. The PSN store is easier to navigate, YouTube is actually useable now (they put a lot of care and effort into that app and it shows) the customization is better for the interface/profile. Sure they may not be the same thing, but these are the two Sony consoles I own and some of the improvement the vita has made make the PS3 feel quite dated. I just hope they don't charge some online service for all the things they're planning on the PS4.

Even watching that Killzone vid at 720, and not the full 1080, I can tell it's beyond what PS3 can do.

And I think it takes a while for developers to find ways to exploit the new hardware... if you look back at MGS4 it blew everyone away, but if you look at it now it almost looks like a PS2 game.

The system is like 4x as powerful as PS3, and we never even got to reach full potential of PS3 because games were designed cross-platform with the crappy XBox in mind.

StrongBlackVine

The graphics may be only 4 times as powerful or whatever, the memory which make a HUGE difference is the amount things going on at time. Plus no more pop-in in open world games which has always be sore spot for me.

Exactly, ever see Far Cry run on the PS3 vs PC? It's night and day with the PS3 pushing 30 frames, pop in, significantly less ground clutter etc.

Killzone 4 could not be done on PS3.  Rewatch the footage and carefully pay attention to everything going on.  The particle effects just are astounding.  Take a look at IGN's video of it in which they dissect every second.  Truly remarkable.

OH WHOW! A BUNCH OF PARTICLE EFFECTS, OUGGHHH, THE GAME IS SO MUCH FUN!

Seriously though, play Killzone 2 &/or Killzone 3 and then you have already played Shadowall or whatever this generic PAAGG is called.

Excuse yourself? The point of new hardware generations is to IMPROVE THE GRAPHICAL CAPABILITIES (ya know, like how your precious Wii U did). You sound like a blatant fanboy in denial, trying to justify whatever it is you're here to justify. Are you mentally challenged perhaps? If so then I apologize.

This looks really good, I just picked a Vita up with a slew of games, I will definitely be picking this up when I have less lengthy games to play. It looks especially nice on the Vita from the videos I've seen.

[QUOTE="Kaisfate"][QUOTE="Nophoria88"][QUOTE="jeffster85"] are the english voices very good?

I think the voice acting is spot on, it's quality acting and I think they match the characters well. I like Oliver's Welsh accent, he pronounces some words in an interesting way.

oliver's writing and voice acting is horrible...no question at all.

I like Oliver's accent, I think it suits him well.

I'm trying to complete all the sidequests in an area before moving on, but some I'm not able to and I don't know why. For example, the Sheikh quest in Al Mamoon where you need to give him some enthusiasm before he can give you the spice...there are no more glowing green circles anywhere in Al Mamoon. So I don't know if I'm boned on that one or not, but it's a little aggravating because I thought the game would make there was enough of that stuff to go around so you never become stuck. I don't know how I'm going to complete it because if I go to another new area where I can find some enthusiasm then I can't use it for the sidequests in that new area.Kravyn81
Well I remember leaving good ol Ding Dong Dell with some enthusiasm and I had completed all the side quests there, I figured it was extra that I'd need later on.

I read your post only to realize it was your cig lol.

Fits so well in so many cases ^^ In this case though, absolutely not. Ni No Kuni is more than a game, it's an epic masterpiece of video game history :)

Btw. Nice PSN Avatar, I have the same :D

Dissidia 012 ftw. ^^

So offtrack but you know I never got the chance to play that one, only played and actually beat the original! I agree, Ni No Kuni is top quality in every aspect. It's nice to play this game just to see how far we've come, even if we hold past favorites that "can never be beat", Ni No Kuni is impressive on a technical level alone.
