Sleeping Dogs is shorter but a much better game overall. Besides, take out the first 5 sequences of AC3 (which is basically a tutorial up until that point), and the length is probably about the same as Sleeping Dogs.

not a good idea to me. I think they should continue to do block part of the game content for used games that have online.

In other words it would work exactly like an online pass, meaning games would be attached to your account, not console.

Some times the logic behind getting a patent is to ensure that OTHER people can't who would possibly use it. I don't think there's anything here to get excited about until there's something to get excited about. This type of move isn't unheard of in lots of different industries.Kravyn81

Lost Planet 1 is set in pure snow and ice.

Lost Planet 2 has some snowy parts.

Lost Planet 3 will be before #1, so will have snow. And will be open world supposedly.
