Yeah I know what your saying dude,,I have the Toshiba 65 inch DLP HM167 its 1080P and Im very pleased with it. The only thing is,,like alot of other tvs it only supports 1080P via HDMI inputs and can only except 720P and 1080i via component. So im guessing thats what your problem is,,just to be safe find your owners manuel and/or call Sony customer support.

thats a nice tv dude,I read the specs but I didnt see if it supports 1080P via its component inputs,,Im thinking ,,look in your owners manuel and see if it supports 1080P via component cable input. If you simply cant find it then call sony customer support. Have you tried 1080P via HD-DVD player or blu-ray with component input?

Does the 720P and 1080i settings work? If so make sure your 1080P tv excepts 1080P via its component cable inputs,,some 1080P tvs only except 1080P via HDMI input.

Yes it can. I've used usb wall chargers, car charger, laptop, PC, hamster-powered generators with USB connections. They all work.hiryu3

I agree, Sony/Samsung. But I guess it depends on what screen size you want. Since you have a PS3 looking for a tv that supports 1080P is the best way to go,,dont get me wrong I have Samsung that has 1080i and it looks really good, but I also have a Toshiba dlp 1080P tv and when the PS3 is hooked up to that via HDMI in 1080P all I can say is MOTHER OF PEARL!!
