I finally got my new CoolerMaster heatsink installed the other day, after seeing some really extreme temperatures through HWMonitor. We're talking anywhere from 80 celcius to as high as in the hundreds. And we're not talking for just brief moments, these temperatures stuck around for a good period of time while I was gaming.

My CPU is a AMD Phenom II Black Edition processor, with the two other cores unlocked and with a 3.2ghz frequency. The stock heatsink just couldn't cut it anymore. I'm just in disbelief that my chip survived for so long at such high temperatures. I'm even more surprised that it didn't shut down, what are the thermal limits on these things? And by the way, my temperature readings are correct as they were all the same through SpeedFan, HwMonitor and my BIOS.

Sounds like a scam.Nibroc420

It isn't. I did research about the company online and they're extremely reputable, with several people saying it's legit and they earned money. And besides, the hiring process was so extensive that I don't see how it could be a scam. They actually screen people pretty well

I got this opportunity with a popular cell service provider around here, and I start training in 8 days online. I'll essentially be taking calls through landline from my home phone and answering questions/providing service to customers. Sounds pretty sweet but the training is extremely long and I only get re-imbursed at the end, and then I start getting paid hourly.

As someone who despises anime, I was delightfully surprised at how interesting this show was. At first watch, I was a little disappointed with the first season as it was somewhat childish. But the next few seasons I felt were extremely well done, with the ending leaving a bit more desired (covering the psyche of each character was nice, as the entire show is essentially based on psychoanalysis. But I wish they covered more outside of the psychological aspect during the ending. I guess I'll have to eatch EoE). Fantastic soundtrack as well, I'm already looking for a copy. I will have to look for similar anime in the future.

What can I expect? Played gears and loved it, don't mind a story-heavy game so that's why I decided to try out the saga series. Hoping for an experience thats close to as good as gears was.

So I might go out and buy the battle chest today, but first I need to know if my laptop will play it well until I upgrade my desktop this christmas.

Intel i5 2410m 2.3ghz (2.9 with a/c power).

8gb of DDR3 RAM

Intel HD 3000 or whatever integrated architecture Intel uses. (Sort of concerned about this)

When I get the battle chest, can I install it on my desktop after I put in on my laptop? Will there be a problem with the product key?

Thanks!

Did anyone else hear that they might be turning XIII into a trilogy? They've registered the domain name apparently.

Anyhow, I won't be picking this up. XIII was a huge dissapointment, I felt absolutely no emotional attachment to the characters whatsoever and the game was on rails over half of the time which really sucked (I do realize the situation the characters were in, but still). Also, I hated having to reference a digital database to understand what was being said every so often, and the music for the most part (while there were a few good tunes, especially on gran pulse) was kind of bland.

I'm giving FF Versus a chance, but if that ends up in disaster then I'm done with SE for good. I'm playing through Xenogears right now and it just makes me realize how much heart went into their games back in the day. Too bad the same can't be said today....

Resistance 2's co-op will also be different every playthrough, just like Left 4 Dead. They say there's certain parts of the co-op where you will have choices to make and those choices affect the storyline. Also, enemies will be in randomized spots, and objectives will not be linear either.

But L4D is still going to be awesome, regardless.
