what's the point of gettin a PS3, most games are gettin ported to 360....:? Some people don't have the money or time to upgrade a PC for Gears, so they buy a console as an alternative.

I chose Ocarina because it changed the way I thought game should be played. It set a completely new standard for videogames especially Adventure/Action RPG's. Ocarina of Time was and is an amazing accomplishment.

[QUOTE="NicktehImperial"]

For me, I'd say in Oblivion, cause the views are actually real places and not just fake backrounds, plus its beutiful of course.

I like in the Imperial city, how the big bridge outside of it you can go on and look all the way down at Lake Rumare and from the bridge and the Waterfront, you can see all of the mountains and the lake and forests.

The most beutiful I've seen is I went on an expidition through the Valus mountains/Nibenay basin/Blackwood area, the first thing I did was go from Cheydinhal on my beloved 5000$ black horse Wilbur and just road through the forests and was amazed by the graphics,all throughout my expidition the Imperial bridge inn was my base, where I could rest and eat and talk to people, and besides exploring all these places including Lost boy cavern which had its own memorable story and all these ancient Alied ruins, I enjoyed the scenary, you really can't appreciate the size of Oblivions world until you see all the Niben basin, the most memorable ziew was when I was on the Niben shore, I was like miles away from civilization and all I could see was the Niben river and the city of Bravil in the distance, and miiiiiles away I could see that really big bridge, not the one outside the Imperial city that has all the tall towers on it but the other one thats alot thinner but ALOT taller, well I could see that and I could see towers all the way in the Imperial city, I really thought that was amazing.

Also the view from the docks of Anivil was incredible but I mean your just looking out at a large portion of water with slaughterfish in it, although whenever I am enjoying the views in Anvil I always think of Daggerfall for some reason.

Well too me future proof is standing the test of time, and soo far these old systems have stood the test of time. And yes, I see what you are saying on kids remembering the PS2 and Xbox, but the 360 and PS3 are both backwards compatible (360 is not fully), and how long before these kids just throw out these systems? Haha I'm bein kind of hard on todays youth, but I don't see a whole lot of people appreciating what they've got anymore.

Microsoft is a copycat

Ipod > Zune

Apple > Vista

PS1 PS2 > Xbox

PS3 > Xbox360

PSP > Zune

Is that copycat?

ChromeHydrolics
Technically in your reasoning Apple copied MP3 manufacturers by making their on MP3 player. And Sony copied Nintendo by entering the gaming industry, and the handheld industry. Tell me, is that not copycat?? In your logic of course....

Hey guys, wanna hear my take on real future proof game systems? Too me the 360 and PS3 are fun for now, but I don't know about them lasting more then 6 years on me...if that. I have a Xbox, and since the 360 I don't use that thing anymore.

Too me real future proof game systems are ones like the the NES and SNES, and the Playstation and N64. I've had all of those systems for years, many many years, and all of them still work. I still play all those a lot too, I find it more fun to go back and play arcade forbidden>
