Why do you only count it for 4 years? Because it is less then PS3's price that way. News flash, Consoles usually last 5-6 years. Bias.jechtshot78
you gotta be kidding me, he said "assuming the 360 lasts that long", he doesn't know the lifespan of the 360, he knows how much cows complain about the 360 failure, are you saying the 360 doesn't have problems now? Why must cows change their minds....

Macs are for noobs because they are user friendly. Anyone can just get on it and know what they are doing. To upgrade a PC (which macs can only get knew programs) it takes knowledge on the hardware that you're using and the hardware you are buying. PC's are gamer friendly, Macs are user friendly. Macs are designed for certain purposes and aren't great at multi tasking (I own one). Although I love the interface on them, I just can't do as much on them with as compared to my high-end gaming PC. If you have the money, I say learn about computers and buy a highend PC. If you are only going to use a computer for personal uses such as school, or work, try a mac. I just like having the ability to upgrade my computer right out of the case without havin to buy something completely different.

Everyone keeps saying how sony is taking a huge loss on each PS3 sold BUT when you add it up the numbers, the 360 is taking just as much as a loss as the PS3 (if not more) ok the 360 is already losing atleast $100.00 on each console sold, not only that but they are also taking a huge loss in reaparing costs for these 360s. For instance, I actually work at a UPS Call center, So we get calls all the time where people schedule pick ups for their 360s to send them back. The price to ship a 360 is average $25.00 JUST FOR THE SHIPPING COSTS THAT COMES OUT OF MICROSOFT's POCKET.. So lets say out of those 10 million 360s sold, 2 million of them where faulty. Thats $50,000,000 Microsoft pays JUST IN SHIPPING COSTS ALONE!! So lets do the math for a second. If they lose initially $100.00 on each console. They sold 10 million Consoles, that would equal a $1,000,000,000 (ONE BILLION) loss!! If you add in the repair costs and the shipping costs also, Microsoft is loosing A LOT OF MONEY!

So now lets look at sony shall we. They are taking a $200.00 on each console, yea sure BUT atleast Sony's consoles arent faulty and they dont have to take a huge loss on shipping and repairing their consoles and you wanna know why.. BECAUSE SONY ACTUALLY KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND THEY KNOW HOW TO DO THINGS RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!! Its as simple as that.

they've only lost $300 million in sales in the entertainment section of their company, that's up from what it was at when they had the orginal Xbox out. http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20070126/bs_nm/microsoft_results_dc Do some research before making up big numbers in your head.

[QUOTE="DaysAirlines"][QUOTE="BigBoss5777"][QUOTE="DaysAirlines"][QUOTE="BigBoss5777"]All fanboyism aside, that video does look pretty real to me unless im missing something, but the way he access the PS3 menu when he turns the game off thats definitly running on the PS3. Like i said, I know the fanboys will bash it because they dont WANT IT to be true, but you have to admit that looks real to me.BigBoss5777
I swear to God this is easily the dumbest post I have ever read on System Wars.

No lets be serious. Give me a logical reason how it looks fake. Im not trying to troll but it looks pretty damn real to me, especially how he actually accessed the PS3 menu WHILE playing the game, Maybe I just dont realize it or if someone can point it out to me how it looks fake.

Do you have an extra chromosome or something?

Im just saying that everyone in here is quick to call him out that its fake but in actuality they dont have any logical explanation as to why it is fake, all im asking for is a reasnoable explanation, it might very well be fake but i still want to know why because it looks pretty damn real to me

look closely next time you watch it, he switches the disc with call of duty for PS3, and has the input switched, and so he has a 360 running an actual copy of gears on the TV

[QUOTE="XxX_Slython_XxX"][QUOTE="Ninja-Vox"]And we all know what that flaw was. The thing which ruined one of the funnest multiplayer experiences of all time (when you're not playing with friends, at least). The newest addition to Halo 3 is called "the A-hole button", detailed here:

"Anyone who’s played MP on Xbox Live knows the following is true: Teenagers, plus anonymity, plus microphone = idiot. Xbox Live already gives you powerful tools to mute, well, tools on a case by case basis. The “A-Hole Button” in Halo 3 lets you exact instant, silent vengeance. These kind of vocal buttmunches, as it turns out, are exactly as fun to play against as normal people, as long as you can’t hear them. So now, you simply press a button (back button, for the moment anyway) and up comes the score list with everyone’s tag on it. The right stick lets you highlight the miscreant and you can then instantly mute them for the rest of the game. These morons continue smacktalking anyway because they can’t help themselves, but if you don’t have to listen to it, you can simply enjoy killing them over and over again, knowing that as their Ritalin wears off and their frustration builds, it’s less and less fun for them. Aaaah. So satisfying."

Bungie.net

Halo 3 multiplayer is going to own. :D

We all know Halo 2's biggest flaw was single player

agreed

Anyone notice how when he starts up campaign the message of "Continuing will overwrite your previous saved campaign." or whatever it says. Which is bollocks, because that means he would have had to save files to the PS3 itself, despite the game asking to "locate" save location the first time you play it. So how would a 360 game be able to locate a PS3 save location? Fake? You tell me.PapaJohn24
He switches the disc with Call of Duty on the PS3 if you look carefully and has the input switched so the 360 is hooked where Gears Starts up on the screen, go over the vid again and look closely

news, i found a PS3 at my Fred Meyers, yes my local Fred Meyers in the morning, came back later on in the day and it was still there, I've proved him wrong, I want my 1,200 dollars! Although I already have a PS3, an extra $1,200 for my computer would be nice.
