My first buy was Skate, CoD4, and Spider-Man Web of Shadows, in a b2g1 deal. Still haven't played them though. If I could only just get the system. Stupid math....

anyone ever played a game for the gamecube which was like theme park world but set in i think it was hollywood? omg now THAT was badChaoticTrunks
Yeah, it was universal theme park the game or somthing. I never played it but I had wanted it for a while, but because it had a Back to the Future racer in it. Comet o find out it was awful and I'm glad I never bought it, though I'd still like to at least ry the BTTF part.... FOr me it's Termintor 3. It kept me away from FPS for a yeah until I finally bough COD4 on the DS and saw that they could be fun.

Or it's going to turn into another District 9 disaster.

airshocker
Disaster? That movie was great! And Spielberg helming the movie would be awesome. A video game adaption finally worthy of it's source?

My nice big collecton of games I've never played. It's amazing how long it can take you to raise money compared to how long you think it'll be. I'm buying 1 new game, and that's TFU2 collector's, plus I'n gonna give the original Gears a try.

so far about 135 on used games. I'm just getting my 360 so I decided tog et some good games. Plus I really want TFU2 Collector's edition, so thats another 80, plus I have a Game Stop b2g1 coupon so I'll sped another 45 there. 260 total this year. Buying a game brand new, and the collectors edition, is a big splurge for me, something I probably won' do gain till... Halo 4?

Don't chance it. You don;t want to him-haul around and then get outside of Game Stop's (or whoever you bought it from) warranty and have to send it to Microsoft do you? Take it back, explain the problem, and get a new one. You might have to jack around with importing your gamertag, but it'll be worth it in the long run.

I know what I just said two posts above, but now this has got me thinking. I have been wanting the Star wars Force Unleashed 2 Collector's Edition for months. It comes out October 23rd or so. I don't know how much money I'm going to make in the next three weeks, but am I really going to chance getting that game brand new (a very rare treat for me. In fact, this would be the first time I've ever paid the full original price and pre ordered a game) over something that I won't be using much till next year when some of the better looking games come out? I don't think so. I'll probably just buy the 300 dollar console, and then wait till next year when the price of Kinect drops a bit and the games I actually want are coming out. Plus that'll give me enough time to see how well the peripheral itself is.

I was going to wait till next year when the price drops and so I could see what games it would have (I'm thinking of Star Wars Kinect), but now I found out about the 250gb Kinect package, and decided I can save up another 100 easily enough, so, why not? I was about ready to buy the console for 300, but now, I'll give it a shot.

1thing. What do you expect Game Stop to give you? You do realize that they are a company, and must make money, right? They can't give you what they will sell it for, because if they did they lose money and go out of business. They can't give you 50 when they'l sell it for 55.

I love the trade in program, but maybe that's because I know how to use it real well, better than most......... But anyway, If I ever buy a game new for 60 (like I'm planning on with TFU2), I' not trading in for a long time. And sometimes, Game Stop isn't as big of a rip off as you think, particularly with older games. I mean, if you have a huge collection of PS2 games you'll fetch a good price on eBay, even after all their fees, but if you've got 1 or 2, you're not likely to sell it. Game Stop guarantees that (as long as it's in good condition, of course), you'll be able to get rid of it. eBay and Craigslist don't work when all you've got is one game that no one wants anymore. And Garage Sales aren't a viable option either if you want big bucks. I don't care if it's a rare Japanese game that got perfect scores across the board or if it's the best Mario game ever made, Garage Sale prices are 2 or 3 dollars, and that's what people expect to pay. If you're asking what you think you should get, ala proud of it, then you're not going to sell it.
