Exactly what RAM do you have? I wouldn't recommend either. If you want to get a new motherboard, make it worth it and jump on a new Intel platform. C_Rule
i agree both a waste of time, either keep what you got or actually upgrade.
I checked last night and it was using around 2100-2270mb of ram. I only have 1GBx2, and I couldn't lower it even with low settings or 720p resolution. Does this create certain issues?

yeah i dont get the concern i would be very happy if my system was utalizing all its resources to allow me to run a game at max settings...
Congrats :) What type of monitor are you using with it?superclocked
I have a 23 inch monitor and a 42 inch tv both 1920x1080 i play anything with a gamepad from the couch on my 5.1 system like batman, the witcher 2, f1 2011, crysis 2, skyrim, and mouse n keyboard on the monitor like shogun 2, supreme commander, dawn of war or BF3 with my 7.1 logitech headphones
so yeah i also dont get what everyone was talking about with respect to noise, Its so far quieter than my old 5830. The highest temp i saw was low 70's so pretty warm but under 80c. The old 5830 had non refrence cooling and from what i can tell was less than half as powerfull and i cant really remember its highest temps but i dont really remember it ever cracking 70 so it was a bit cooler but definatley louder. however with the refrence design the card is totally encased and blowing the heat out of the case, with this design i see 9c temperature reduction in the overall case temp so the other components must appreciat that.
SSD worth it? Seems a bit more expensive for less amounts of space.

personally yes they are too damn expensive im waiting for lower price but it will give you massive performance increase for loading and such and ram wont give you any performance.
