A Week Leave

It was hard to get time to write this blog, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door has been taking up most of my life today. I love this game, and it helps on my epic quest to beat all 5 Mario RPG's... Sunday is creeping up, and I'll be leaving that morning on vacation. Sorry everyone, but I'll be gone for a whole week, with no way to update. This will probably be my last post for a little bit, so if you send me a PM, it might be awhile before you get an answer! ^_^

The Future Looks Bright

Indeed it does! With only 4 days until I leave for Gatlinburg, an excellent ammount of games coming out I want, The Wii right around the corner, and some news I just got. My Mom's Boyfriend Zac (Practically my Stepdad now) loves games as much as me, which is sweet. He really likes Fight Night Round 3 for Xbox 360 (When we go to GAmestop, we have to pull him out of there.) So for Christmas, my mom said she would probably get me, My Brother, and Zac a 360 Premium System, plus a game each! As much as I love Wii, this is still gonna be awesome, because now I can play some games I've really been wanting to try (Oblivion, Full Auto, Kane and Lynch, ect.) But the thing I really think is cool about the 360 (And hope that the Wii models after) is its achievement system. Being able to track your progress like that is sweet. But this maske me rethink my Gaming Philosophy a bit. Let it be know from nbw on...

As a gamer I respect and understand all companies.

From now on, I will not hate a company, I will Disagree with it.

Nintendo will always be my first priority. ALWAYS!

More love for others, means more games for me...

This won't be too big a deal, I'll only get to play it on weekends anyways, plus I can get Zac to buy games, so I don't have to waste my Wii and DS money! ^_^

Wii Fund- $23.71 (+ Gamecube and Games)

The Return of Odgie Part II

Que the Drumroll, because I've returned from my Mom's house. I had a great time, got my brain age down to 23, Clocked in about 12 hours of Mario and Luigi: PArtners in Time, and layed around watching movies. I believe CNET NEtworks Entertainment (The ones who created Gamespot, tv.com, mp3.com, ect.) should make a DVD.com. YOu could put your collectiion on there, have levels and emblems, and whatnot. Of course it would have a place to write reviews and rate videos, and a great forum. If any of you know of a website like this please send me a link! It's only about 6 days until I leave for vacation, hopefully I can waste away some of the time by hanging out on Gamespot alot. I have been wanting to get back to the forums for awhile! So the only thing bugging me is my Wii Fund. I used WAY to much of my work money, and I'm down to almost nothing again, so now I'll re-re-reinstitute the Wii Fund. To help me track how much money I have saved for the awesome system. So, I better work on the 2nd issue of Wii Informer for awhile, and get those Mario and Luigi: Superstar Sagas and Brain Age reviews up!

Wii Fund: $23.06 (+ Gamecube Trade-in, Estimated $70)

Estimated Total: $93.06

Quick PSP Blog

I know I've been posting alot of blog enries lately, it's just alot's been going on. My brother got a free PSP from a friend, and he wants to share it with me. Hey, more games for me right. So, if you see a couple PSP games on my Collection, or Playing List, don't freak out, I haven't converted. I'm still diehard Nintendo, and my Age 32 Brain should prove it... (I figured out I had 33 yesterday, so I'm going up!). PSP...yea, bad loading times. To tell you the truth I'll mainly only use it to download some emulators and music onto. Maybe a movie or two, or a couple episodes of Futurama, lol, I love that show. Along with Family Guy of course! So anyway, I'm gonna go play some more PArtners in Time, that game Rocks! And I'm going to my mom's tommorrow, and probably won't be back until Thursday, or Friday. So I'll talk to you then!

Cackletta..Defeated

After 6 long tries today, I finally beat Cackletta, definately one of my boss battles from heck! I've starting Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time and it's even better! I really like the Bros. Items! My review will be up soon for ML:SS. My Brainage is now 32 I believe, I'm working my way up ( down...whatever ) and I got a new Daily Training, Syllable Count. Other than that I'd like to introduce my new 8 O'clock GS Block. From now on, everyday I'm home I'll be on Gamespot from 8-9pm, it's to help me get more into GS, since I haven't been on much lately.

Woot! for Shopping!

We went to Walmart today, and I found the 3 games I wanted all in a row! I got Tony Hawk's American Sk8land, Brain Age, and Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time. Brain Age freaking rocks, even though it can't regconize my southern accent when I say Blue...So my brain age today is only 78! I gotta work! THAS is cool to, really fun, kinda clunky but a great time waster, and I haven't played ML:PIT yet, I'm waiting to beat the first one (Cackletta is freakin' hard!) So I'm gonna sit around skating and training for the next 2 weeks till vacation. I've also been working on Wii Informer Vol.2 (If you haven't read Vol.1, head over to the United Wii Stand Union!)

Return of the Odgie

Hey everyone! I'm done working and with a hearty $175 in my pocket! About $100 will go to a phonecard and about 3 DS games to take on Vacation (Only 17 days away!) and the rest stays in my safety box fow Wii. I will also be probably working with my grandpa a couple hours a day ($5 an hour) and plus my allowance, I should easily have enough for Wii (That's not even counting my Gamecube trade in!) So, on to gaming. I'm on the final boss of Mario and Luigi. I can beat Bowletta easily but then you have to fight Cackletta with 1 HP! It's so hard, I finnally fought her for about 30 minutes one time, and when I let my gaurd down she pulled out a new attack and BAM, I was dead. I borrowed Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door from my friend (I gave it to him for his B-Day) in my new quest to beat the 5 Mario RPG's. So I'll just be laying around playing games for awhile.

More Work...

Can't believe I have time to squeeze this post in! It's gotta be kinda short... Well, I've been working my butt of lately (I guess I could be working a little harder though...) But anyways, we've still only sold $40 so far, it takes a bit before the money really starts coming in. I'm almost through Mario and Luigi: Superstar Sagas, I expect to finish it tonight. Then I'll start working more on Pokemon Sapphire and play some more Mario Kart DS ( By the way I got my review up, check it out sometime if you'd like.)

Work...

Well, I've been out helping my Grandma price fireworks. And starting Saturday, that's what I'm going to be doing for about the next 2 weeks, sitting in a firework stand with my cousins, pointing out the best, and the most colorful, ect., and then actually selling it to them. It's a pretty long and tough job, but the better we do, the more money we make (We estimate about $8000 this year for our stand which means $200 for me!) But I guess it'll be worth it when I finally hold me Wii... Until then I've got my DS Lite to tide me over (I've already put more hours into it then I did the whole time I had my original DS). With my money I'm getting:

>Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time

>New Super Mario Brothers

>Brain Age: Train your Brain in Minutes a Day

>DS Lite Carrying Case

Remember, all of this is for Vacation, were heading to the smokies 23-30th, it'll be pretty much my whole family and it's gonna rock! Also I beat Mario Kart (Well, beat every race in Grand Prix!) And my review should be coming soon.

And now time for what you've all been waiting for... The #1 Game in my countdown, and to everyone who knows me it should be obvious...

Top 10 Game Countdown

Number 1: Ocarina of Time

What to say about the best game of all time!? There is so much! The way it just captivates you, the awesome graphics and the immersive world (Me and my friend still look for secrets, even though we've found them all ((Or so we think...))) The beautiful sound, and the feelings you get, the hate of Ganon, the Love for Zelda, the Sadness, the joy... This is Zelda at it's best and let me tell you, this was a close call between it and Windwaker. I'm just hoping that Twilight Princess delivers the same, or even more. So I'll cross my fingers, and sit around and play Masters Quest for Gamecube until the end of the year, when I can finnaly relive my N64 Hyrule Days.

Mario RPG's

My brothers friend let me borrow one of my favorite games, Mario and Luigi Superstar Sagas for GBA! I had it along time ago but didn't get to far and it's an awesome game, with it and Pokemon Sapphire to play, plus Mario Kart, I should be tied up until I get payed around the 6th. I've decided to buy Mario and Luigi:Partners in Time for DS next and I'm going to take it on Vacation with me, I'll also probably buy Brain Age, or Big Brain Academy.  So I start work about the 26th and it goes through the 5th (Usually) and I should get payed around $150. I'm not working with my mom as previously thought, so I really gotta start saving for my Wii!

Top 10 Game Countdown

Number 2: Pokemon Red

This game was my life when I was 9. Most parents predicted that "That Poke-thing" was just another fad that would go away after a couple of months, but just look now. 2006 and one of my most anticipated titles to play right now is Pokemon Diamond! The immersing world that was created when you went in the game consumed you, and became all you could think, or talk about. I remember going to the Pokemon League at Books-a-million every saturday to play and trade pokemon. But amongst the lines of gameplay, this game is the king of replay, and all of the swirrling mysteries around miisingino and mew made it even better...
