yet you keep continuing to ignore what makes madden superior.  i never said it didn't have it's flaws, so does every game.  2k sold 2k5 for $20 because it's a watered down arcade football game that you can throw bombs in all day long.

Gameplay? You mean something that makes a game a football a strategic battle like in real life? Like say, playing online against the Colts(who are on a roll) and cuz Peyton Manning is so studius in film rooms and can tell what a defense is doing before he snaps the ball, just like in real life, the other guy can press a button and see exactly what defensive play is? Forcing you to make adjustments via the defenive hot routes, as he makes adjustments to beat you? And if you happen to have a John Lynch or Ray Lewis on defense you can do the opposite and see what the offensive play is? Or how about the ability to manually make a possession or flashy catch? You make a possession catch, you can lose out on getting YAC. You make the spectacular one, you can get the ball knocked out while going YAC. Sounds like gameplay to me, it also sounds original and innovative. It also sounds true to real life football. If you want to play with NFL legends past, get 2K8. Me? I'd rather play with legends of the present.

And also, to squash the "2K had gang tackling first" thing as complete bull****, Madden NFL 2000 had gangtackling. I remember that cuz that's the same game with a tight Ludacris intro.
