and the need to point that out was..... hmm no reason other then to annoy people.  he wasn't trying to compare madden to the 2kseries, which died back in 05 in case you forgot.  he was simply trying to talk about madden 08.  not make a big debate over which one was better.  the gameplay in the 2k series "may" have had the slight edge, but the 2k series paled in comparison when it came to franchise mode, which is where most people spend most of there time.

Annoy people!You mean like you?Well my reason was to inform those who have never heard of 2ksports and their football games and give credit to where it is due,and not have those who like to ASSume madden(eitremn)is coming with something new,which has been seen and done before,And about 2k dying(lol)EA,for those who dont know bought the NFL rights after 2k5,So there would be no Comp.Punk move.But you cant keep a good game down.

Important to you!Not everybody else,BTW whats my favorite food or color?dont know,didn't think so!You like Franchise mode over presentation and game play,good for you.Then Buy madden.Thats all i want to know,reasons why you prefer one over the other.thanks for playing.

I have pals who play madden all the time,yes it is true i dont play madden,but over the years i have seen and heard the gripes,it's not as if i hate madden,i just think 2k makes a better football game as far as gameplay,and wanted other peoples thoughts.Simple.

 2k8 for me!I want gameplay,not arcade ball and 80yrd bombs while backpeddling,glitchy AI etc.I stopped playing madden years ago,and when they pulled the sissy move and bought the NFL rights after seeing the great strides 2k was making after only 5 plus years on the market,instead of upping their game they chose to buy out the comp and make a weaker game knowing people who wanted a NFL football game(LoL)had to buy that garbage,Now all of a sudden they want to make a great game??hahaha and with what,Gang-tackles?Rb'Seeing the hole and not bumping into their linemen??One handed catches??Guess what!2k had that 3years ago!So all you madden heads out there, support the fat man,I love it,Because just like 2k5 vs madden 05 Ea is going to be shown how to make a football game and without madden to compare to,2k wouldn't look so Good.But thats me ,and everybody is different..with that said,Gameplay(All-pro football) or flash(hit-stick,hot dogs,etc)Madden.

Yes all-pro football will be made this year for 360 and ps3,And if anyone knows sports it's 2k,Madden will be madden,if you like that then cool,ea is late and is just now putting gangtackle and rb's finding the hole along with one handed catches(LOL)2k had that 3 years ago,so imagine what they will come up with next!And dont get me started on gameplay.Anyway...your choice johnny,try em Both.For me however it's 2k8.Peace.
