Still Starcraft 2 for me. Diablo 3 is in second place as I find the gameplay gets repetitive a lot faster than starcraft. I tend to go absolutely insane with diablo for about 3 to 6 weeks then get burnt out on it, whereas Starcraft I've been playing on and off for pretty much forever. A close third would be the next battlefield game.

Smarter? Who knows. They are certainly less fickle though. Pure console gamers always complain about having to learn about PC components as something that puts them off PC gaming. Though the argument could be made that people that are unwilling to learn something as relatively simple as assembling a PC are also unwilling to learn other things (and thus are dumber as a result).

This is completely viable, really, if the developers had the choice to cut out the middleman of Sony and Microsoft and make even more profit, they would most definitely do it. The only issue is something like this would be impossible to implement in the U.S. since this country's internet infrastructure is built on 1800's copper wire telephone networks. Compared to Europe and most of developed Asia (yes, even China), the U.S. internet bandwidth for your average gamer's home is abysmally bad.

Microsoft has been buying out PC developers since the first Xbox, what's your point?

If you're lazy or incompetent, PC gaming just isn't for you. You're missing out on some good stuff, but hey, if you don't think it's worth the hassle, more power to ya.

Piracy is so overblown. Really, 95% of the people that pirate a game probably would never have bought the game (at least at full price) in the first place. They're cheap, plain and simple, and wouldn't be willing to spend the money for a certain game anyways.

GTA is like Madden these days, if it stucks to the formula, it'll end up being a pretty good game. Is it worthy of hype given what it brings to the table? probably not, but hey, plenty of people will still enjoy it when it comes out.

Very unoriginal. Almost every good game is just some older game rehashed with better graphics.
