[QUOTE="OmegaOrtega"]Milking?
This will happily be my 2nd controller and my first stand alone controller purchase.
Trying to turn around a good thing for PS3 owners is really getting old Xbox fanboys.

dude. just cause its not milking in YOUR specific case doesnt mean that its not milking in general
RIGHT.
Which means they shouldn't release the controller at all?
It isn't milking. Controller releases, you call it milking, had it never come out you flame the controller for not having rumble.
You fanboys need to make up your minds.
EDIT: I can't believe in the wake of Xbox Live fans try to call releasing a new controller milking. Sony lost a court case and was too stubborn. Now it's resolved and they are releasing a new controller. And it's not like you are being forced into it to enjoy your game.. You can still use your alternate controller..
Xbox Live is a prime example of milking. P2P networking, with the owners of the console having no free way what so ever to play online multiplayer? Now thats milking, and it's making MS millions, for now.
Want another example of milking? This ones old, but Final Fantasy CC required you to have a GBA in order to play with friends. Oh and your friend needed a GBA too.
Releasing a new damn controller isn't milking, esspecially when they couldn't release the controller from the get go. Though thats entirely Sony's fault.
EDIT #2
One thing you can point out though, is that Sony has outright LIED to it's consumers, multiple times. With the whole rumble wasn't possible B.S.. Then BOOM Wii comes out with even more advanced motion controls and oh hey.. it rumbles. Does that make a new controller release for $54.99 milking though? Nope. Esspecially since you have a choice NOT to buy it and still play your games without a message popping up saying "Please insert Dualshock 3 controller."
