Indeed, most console gamers go with HDTV's and they are also alot more expensive if you want a 1080p one.

I got an excellent monitor for my PC and consoles and it outputs 1080p for just $399 :D

As for the PS3, there has never been anything wrong with it, aside from price and games. As a system it's near perfect, my only complaint is lack of in game XMB and custom soundtrack (at the moment).

I'm responding to the topic: Why does the PS3 receive so much hate? The hate is not as bad as it was previously.

That's one of the main reasons I dislike the PS3, it's fanbase. Take a look at the poster before you.

Honestly, I favor PlayStation, but I hate the PlayStation only, the Xbox only, the Nintendo only fans.

The newest one looks great, easily a huge improvement over Dual Strike.

There are lots of games which uses more than 1GB ram and runs smoothly on the ps3 and 360.

While not looking as good as the PC counter parts.

I want a mod that willl allow you to crouch manually..

Until you can crouch manually I will never buy this game.. And if they take too long.. the comp I build for Guild Wars 2 will be happily playing UT3 also.

COD4 is impressive and all.. But once I played it after playing Uncharted I couldn't help but squint my eyes and be like "eww blurry textures".

And hell COD4 is AMAZING... But get this.. Uncharted's graphics are THAT good to where I would go eww sometimes to COD4.

So does PS3 with playing PS2 games, but there are people who prefer the PS2.
