Bioshock = a mediocre piece of crap with terrible level design (all of them look the same), linear as light-beam, moronic enemy AI, clumsy control system and God know what else...one of the most over rated games IMHO
The Withcer = an under rated epic PRG masterpiece with outstanding story, innovative and unique combat system, mature 'Decision and Consequence' than traditional Good or Evil stuff, plenty of addictive and versatile primary and secondary quests, sufficient locations with amazing environment, fantastic music and pretty good voice acting, sense of humor blended here and there and many many more...Missing this game is a crime.
In short Geralt of Rivia owns Big Daddy :P
I was really expecting The Witcher to be the RPG of the year. In Reader's Choice it's got 40,707 votes (51%) so far. When I clicked the envelope I thought the winner have to be among The Witcher or Mass Effect.
But some 'Japanese Dating Sim': Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 has won the God damn RPG of the year! :):(:?
BTW the ground breaking earth shattering blockbuster Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 have 2,149 votes (3%) in it's favor:P
Games that are released for 360 or multiplatform are reviewed within 2-3 days of release but games for PC get reviewed ages after release and some Pc games never make it to official review.
The Witcher = PC, reviewed loooooong after release
Hellgate London = PC, Have not been reviewed YET, although the game is not fresh anymore.
all of Duty 4 = Multiplatform, reviewed within two days of release.
Gamespot = Console Licking.
Syberia. Definitely. It's an amazing game. The only thing bad about it is it's ending, you'll just have to play Syberia 2 after you've played Syberia. But Syberia owns Dreamfall anyday.
If you haven't played The Longest Journey then you SHOULD played the game. It's better than Syberia but the graphics are crappy.
Play Dreamfall only after playing TLJ. Dreamfall is a great game but it's the weakest contestant among these games.
Both games require a huge time investment. Just to get through the main story in HG:L is 30 hours (not even including playing the MP) and The Witcher boasts 80 hours of campaign + quests.
It takes time to review games like this...no need for conspiracies and silly things

Oh but the HG:L Game Guide is up and running for 2 days now...isn't that funny? and maybe, annoying?!
And I think they get the copy of the game before actual release date so that they can post the review just in time. But they don't.
Most of the times I've seen Gamespot as the last reviewer of games. I don't know why but it looks kinda "old stuff" reading the review in GS after we already know about the game.
I've been waiting for the Witcher review for eternity and it still looks like somewhere in distant future..:(
Manhunt. This game is so disturbing it made me sick. Play for entertainment purpose only.
RE4 is an excellent game, but it's also an excellently terrible port to PC.
Condemned - Criminal Origins
Horror at it's best.
Silent Hill 2 - Restless Dreams
It's one of the greatest horror games ever released on any platform, if not the best. Never thought horror games can be emotional as well.
Penumbra Overture
Freakin Scary!
Doom 3
People say it's repetative and it is, but it's scary regardless and hundred times better that F.E.A.R in terms of horor.
I've played more great horror games, but that's all I can remember right now.
