You can change the video settings under config.cfg if I remember correctly. Just open the file with notepad and change the desired settings

I really couldn't get into that game. Too many bugs even after updating it. The idea of STALKER was appealing but the implementation was horrid.

Check under the start menu to see if you can run the games from there. Or browse to where they were installed and run them from there. Maybe make shortcuts on your desktop yourself.

Do you have an anti-virus? Some viruses can corrupt your exe files, even if you formated and reinstalled, it only takes 1 infected memory stick and a few seconds to re-infect a system. Try downloading the latest graphics card drivers and please don't use the graphics driver provided by Windows.

Sounds like you should give the new Operation Flashpoint a go. I' certainly will.

I also got this, it's easily solvable by changing the permissions and options of the game by right clicking on the icon. Unfortunately I'm at work now and don't have StarCraft here.

People don't just play StarCaft just for the StarCraft branding, taking StarCraft (a RTS) and turing it into World of StarCraft (MMORPG) is changing your core audience. I for one will personaly hunt down, ###### the Blizzard CEO and hang his head on a pole outside the office if he EVER thinks up this stupid idea.

And thats excactly why it's good. To me Generals will never be a C&C game the last "true" C&C was Yuri's Revenge and Red Alert 3 fits perfectly into the C&C universe.

I Enjoy this game and I feel EA has actually done a good job with it. Like Doom Hellknight, I'm also a big C&C fan and I love RA3!

And everyone who say they didn't like it because they were in beta, some things have changed since beta and how can you judge something from an unfinished product?

I say get the game, it's giving me hours of fun.
