The Wii has nearly quadrupled the past console sales and also has a solid line up so....

A solid line-up yes but it still hasnt surpassed the GC in overall games.

PS3 will be the only console this gen to fail both. Then again, reaching even a 1/3 of that is amazing.

I agree to some degree.

I dont think its a scame that they are doing it and its pretty nice (although i would have preferred BC).

But what makes me facepalm is when people say "Im getting it for trophies and glorious HD". I just cant believe how those can even be factors of a purchasing decision.

On another note, the shack comparison doesnt impress me that much now. Back in 2006 it blew me away HARD. I couldnt believe it and thought graphics like that were impossible. Now i can easily see differences and its not as impressive. how quick graphics and time move.

This collection isnt for me. From what i played years back, i couldnt stand Slo Cooper (Give me Jak collection anyday).

And no, having BC is infinately better than what Sony is giving us now.

You sure? We only got the first one a few months ago. Both games in the same year seems a bit silly.

I am the biggest PSO fan. Played the DC to death moved to GC and then PC. I even play Blue Burst from time to time when friends ask me too.

However PSU is gutter trash. I dont know how SEGA did it but they took everything that was right with PSO and made it wrong. HL its still full price and story mode is terrible. I loved how PSO handled its story. Whilst it was paper thin, detailed logs around the world and character interaction was nice (sort of like Metroid Prime). Preserve your memory of PSO and dont get it. Although i heard Phantasy Star Portable 2 fixes alot of problems and i have to admit, the idea of dual weapons and strafing was great. The situation reminds me of DMC1 to DMC2.

Crazy thought, imagine PSO updated for XBLA or even a full fledged PSO2. Make it happen SEGA :D
