I knew I shouldn't have done it, I took advantage so I'm just accepting it but at least I got a free game. If I see the free cheese at a supermarket I take one to see if I like it, I probably shouldn't eat the whole platter or they'll remove me from the store. My own fault entirely.

They suspended me. I got 4 games and a suspension. Funny enough the suspension email came before the order confirmation email. I made an account to do this though so don't care much.

Just doomspeakers who can't see that the games had their day and were abandoned for other games, it seems only PC gamers are commenting on hoe their platform is advantageous because their games have online infrastructure in some shape or form for 20 years after the game vanishes. Great news if you like to play with the other 3 people playing a 20 year old game.

Dumb. If you pay $60 for a game then you should have the right to play it until at least the end of the generation. Anything less than that is a bad business model. One of the best advantages of the PC. I can still play 20 year old games and never have to worry about servers shutting down. senses_fail_06

So if no one plays the game then who cares? The only people I hear complaining are the people who aren't on the games in which the servers have been shut down, the people who own the game are like "meh" and they move on and don't dwell on it because they don't even play the game anymore.

Just think, every country in the world wants that money, even the mega rich ones like Japan and USA, it's enough money to pay for the entire USA's defences about 5 times over or keep it running for 5 years, if that is my understanding is USA spends about $3trillion a year on defences which is more than every other country combined. That puts things in perspective.
