I have a huge backlog so i'm not spending anymore money for a game to sit in my list never to be played, that's not a bargain to me. Just wasteful. Maybe if a fall and break my legs then I'll be happy for my backlog but until then it's still just wasteful to spend money on games I'll likely never play or play for an hour then uninstall to try my other games. I'm having more fun and putting more time into F2P games on Steam these days anyway so even less reason to buy more games.

Bad deal, bad excuse which is always "It costs money to run XBL". Sure it does but if I paid for XBL then I expect at least a part of that goes towards keeping the service alive and not requiring me to see ads, hell many websites offer "No Ads" as an incentive to buy their service and to be honest I wouldn't be surprised if next gen they rub them in your face, in your games and on your dash just so you buy XBL Platinum that costs $20 more than Gold.

I find it funny that you seem to think "hardcore" gaming is even linked to the games a person plays, a "hardcore" gamer in my eyes isn't a pro who can headshot a person on the other side of the map in a slip second, it's not someone who plays online games all day and all night. It's someone who doesn't care who makes, it, what platform it's on, the budget it has, the score it gets, a hardcore gamer just plays it and enjoys the life out of games. TC you seem to be making it sound it like mainstream games aren't good and that you purposefully don't play them because they are mainstream. You're not hardcore, you're just a poser who likes to rub it in peoples faces that he plays obscure non-advertised games from a small company with a funny name.

So, are people going to tell us 'Have good faith' and 'Wait till you see it' etc etc again? No? Good.

Ok then, let's add ULTIMA to list of IPs ruined by EA, and be done with it.

Toxic-Seahorse
I love how nobody ever blames the developers, just EA.

I love how some people think Bioware actually have any weight in how the game is to be developed. When your boss tells you to do something the way he wants it, you do it. You do realize management make the decisions and the developers are just the guys who get paid to do as they're told. Hence the reason they are owned by EA, not hired, owned. I would love to go upstairs to the bosses office and tell him the task he gave us wasn't happening because it might hurt my reputation in the industry. I'd get told off for something as stupid as that, maybe even sacked for halting productivity in a multi-billion dollar corporation.

Imagine GTA5 was an MMO. Could be a fun concept.

EA are under the stockholders thumb and stockholders only want money so makes sense that EA are upset because it means the stockholders are at EAs throats, quite funny if you ask me.

Nothing, you MIGHT get a temperature difference but the main difference is that pre applied paste is sometimes too much so you might want to take some off.

Yea, I got the email from nvidia yesterday @ 2.31pm AEST. Spent an hour changing passwords on certain accounts not because the details were identical but close enough.

It has me curious though. They said passwords were hashed with a random salt. Salting is meant to be a one way process...

darksusperia
Doesn't mean the process cannot be reversed, just means its very difficult to reverse, there are lists of hashes all over the Internet which you can test against a list of hashes which have the hash and the clear text password. They probably got 450k hits out of the millions of hashes.

I don't think they could make it exclusive, CoD is a seller on every platform and MS muscling a huge part of every other platform away is anti-competitive. Let the lawsuits begin.
