@Mangaas although you're being extremely cynical and your grammar sucks I still sort of agree with you.

I'd argue that game journalism sites aren't being explicitly "paid off" but with modern business practices they might as well be. Studios usually pump ad money into the site like you mentioned, or they only give review copies of games to sites they know will give them positive reviews early on to start the momentum. None of this is new though, the same thing happens in the film and music industry as well

Except nobody cares about game journalism because its a complete joke

@Karasuquote @ahendrix973 I was expecting you to be one of the "there's no gameplay so this sucks lulz" but I totally agree with everything you just said. I'm glad a game like this exists but you're right innovation is no excuse for bad writing

@GameYakuza I'm going to disagree with you with that youtube comment. You cannot get the same experience from watching it on youtube, because like film there's no interactivity, which this game's narrative relies on

I find it funny that this game gets a 2.0. Don't get me wrong it deserves that score but this game is pretty much the embodiment of all triple-A shooters right now. The editor outlines the game's faults with a pretty hilarious irony as he goes into detail about its derivative gameplay mechanics and characterization, its shallow appeal, its weak story, pretty much all big budget shooters taken to the furthest extreme. I think this game was made to be horrible on purpose

@de-ci23 @Otacon6669 @dgg2828 I'm not really sure what you're trying to say. All i got out of that reply was you seem to think since the majority of review sites are saying this game deserves a 10/10 then it's wrong for gamespot to give it anything less.

You should look up the meaning of "Argumentum ad populum"

@shipwreckers Why would they label a game like this as "short"? You can't finish it, it doesn't end, it is infinitely long. That's like saying minecraft is too short
