@dgg2828 you're an idiot. Obviously he would have to finish the game before he can publish a review. They get early review copies, the entire gamespot staff has probably finished it. Also if the video review seemed short read the full review.
Plus you're going to say IGN is a more legitimate website when there's actual objective evidence that they're the ones that don't finish games and their editors are a bunch of college dropouts?
@pedroabperneta @Otacon6669 majority opinion does not always equal the correct opinion. Also I don't mean the gameplay mechanics are the same as most AAA titles, i just mean the lack of creativity. The only thing this game has going for it, is its portrayal of ellie. While they may have been successful there, the game lacks any originality in all other aspects
People are going nuts over this game, screaming hate at a guy who in my opinion is an excellent editor and writer. This game is no different then all the other uninspired, dreary AAA titles coming out in the last 3 years but just because it has a pseudo-meaningful story and main character people act like its the second coming of jesus. I'm glad some games are trying at least something new but this game isn't that great, and it certainly does not deserve a 10 of 10. Excellent review Tom
@Aydenuille probably the biggest problem in the gaming industry right now is that hardly anybody, not the gamers, and especially not the developers, want a game thats not some kind of entertainment product. Movies that have no action can still be considered good but if you don't spend 80% of a game killing things suddenly nobody takes it seriously
this guy pisses me off. Yeah you're right songs from 20 years ago were catchy, and yeah games nowadays have more complex music, in what way does that make the music bad? If I were watching a movie where the music is supposed to compliment the emotions of that scene, i'd be pretty pissed if call me maybe started blaring
