LOL@ People calling the PS2 not revolutionary.

THe PS2 was the first successful/Popular console to implement BC.

The PS2 introduced the DVD format to gaming. It was the first cosnole that was able to play movies(not really that significant but whatever)

The PS2 was the first to have rumble as standard.

Anyway this thread is not about last gen. This is about this gen, I love how people are trying to change the subject to the PS2(wrongly). The PS2 absolutely brought a lot to the industry, disputing that makes you wrong.

The XBOX 360 is the first console to bring nothing to gaming whatsover really.

You think these are the "harsh" sites? Many of the sites that have reviewed the game already are the big sites who are victims of hype and are almost obligated to give it a high scrore. There are GOING to be sites(coming soon) who will not review it highly just because they think it's "overrated", "kiddy", "bad graphically", etc.

It doesn't even have to be under 9 to bring down the average. A 9/10 will bring down the average.

Anyone is crazy to think that SMG won't go down to 93/94% in a couple weeks.

The thing is all the "new" and "next gen" stuff your talking about is stuff that Microsoft brought to gaming back with the original Xbox.

Before Xbox 1 there was no console online, there was no online console community, there was no console with a hard-drive, there was no d/l content, no friend list, no buddys, nothing.

Microsoft did more to bring home gaming consoles into the state they are now then any other company... FACT.

FACT: The XBOX was an utter failure. It had a horrible library of games and got dominated by the PS2. If you think Microsoft has done more than any company for gaming you have 0 idea what you're talking about becuase it's not even close. Sony and Nintendo have done 100 times more. Nintendo saved the gaming industry with the NES.

FACT: The SNES and Dreamcast had online before the XBOX.

FACT: This thread has nothing to do with the XBOX 1. It's about the XBOX 360, Wii, and PS3. So stop taking it off topic.

I wouldn't consider R&C AAA, and Unreal is arguably better on PC.

R&C is one of the best games of this year and part of one of the best platformer series' ever.

Unreal on the PS3 has Keyboard/Mouse support, and mods, just like the PC version. Anyway it doesn't matter because we're comparing UT3 on consoles(where 90% of people play games).

FPSs are known for being better on PC. Just like CoD4.

Ratchet and Clank and Uncharted = AAA

Unreal Tournament 3 = AAA

Haze = Potential AAA

And besides, there's really no reason to play Halo when the best FPS out right now is multiplat(CoD4). Halo is overrated like crazy.

Xbox succeded at online gaming..the biggest innovation for consoles since...RUMBLE or the Disc...and online gaming is alot more important than rumble.Pro_wrestler

The XBOX 1 "succeeded" with online before the XBOX 360.

The Dreamcast still had it too though...

And the Disc >>>>> Online. Don't overrate online, that's a fail.
