See I can do that too. Crysis blows away uncharted graphically. I just beat the uncharted demo today man, it is nothing special.

Crysis is great graphically, and it's also a PC game. It's also a PC game that looks like a generic shooter.

Saying "failure" isn't a great way to debate anything. The fact that you called Crysis a generic shooter really shows how little you know about it. That is ok though, we are here to talk about uncharted right? Uncharted is flawed in one major way..it borrows way to many gameplay mechanics..the platforming in the game(yes it is a platformer) is typical and stale now and the gunplay is pretty much Gears of War but less intense. The fact that the character looks great when he moves isn't going to instantly boost a games score dramatically. I liked the effects of the water for example, the way when he was wet the exact amount of clothing that I dipped in the demo into the water became wet....not just all of him...but things like this and great looking movement and all that are just details that make a game good but will usualy never save it. It needs to be deep and engrossing ...most improtantly it has to bring something extremely new to gaming.

You fail just becuase you think it's a platformer. It has platforming, but it's not Mario or Prince of Persia.

I could just as easily say the gunplay of Gears of War is like Killswitch, or thee gunplay in Halo(most overrated series ever btw) is a ripoff of Doom.

No game is allowed to do cover based shooting because Gears of War had it a year ago?(something Gears of War wasn't even close to be the first to do).

Crysis has been hyped just becuase of it's graphics really. Other than that it doesn't look like much better than the average PC shooter.

That game is not going to revolutionize anything. It is going to simply be a good platformer game. Nothing more or less. The character model motion was very fluid but nothing that special.

Dude, it is a platformer with guns. Is ratchet & Clank a shooter? In uncharted I did about as much climbing and jumping as I did shooting.

Ratchet and Clank = Shooter/Platformer hybrid. That's always been the case.

Ummm actually Microsoft admitted to the flawed design of the XBOX 360 which casues them to fail, destroy discs because of slight movement, etc.
