The Metroid Prime series were amazing.

Wait... Ground Zeroes is gonna be a prologue to Phantom Pain... but Phantom Pain is already confirmed for current gen consoles, while Ground Zeroes isn't... which means Ground Zeroes might be a next gen game...

Unfortunately most people are reacting like the 2nd example, which is a shame because I always thought the MGS community was more mature than this. Guess not. (this is coming from someone who has every single Metal Gear game ever released)
