[QUOTE="Ownage_Delivery"]Which is why the mess religion has created is on those who continue to perpetrate it's madness. Not the innocent victims. When people say religion is to blame, that's usually what they mean. It's not his mom's fault.BiancaDKi see the light now, thx. Your sarcasm did not go undetected, FYI. :)

[QUOTE="BiancaDK"]i have an inherent fear of being wrong in public.Shi-ro-me
Including on here? Which would explain that post in the other thread. ?_?
Hehehe... What do I fear, hmm... I fear my own greatness sometimes. It's scary being the trailblazer. :|[QUOTE="Ownage_Delivery"]:| Well anyway, the point is, religion is to blame. His mother may not be able to see what is causing her prejudice which under different circumstances would undoubtably not be there. Other people are aware that religion causes the problem but do not do enough to enlighten the rest of the populace. Going by what you suggest, everything is either the fault of the first action (in which case, we'd live a sad life), or no one is at fault at all. However, you imply fault. It has to be placed somewhere for it to even exist. Thus, the blame is placed on what enables the delusion to continue existing. This is religion. Human ignorance plays a role, but the ignorance to the lies of religion can be eradicated with enough time, care, and effort. Religion needs to die for the problems it has caused ALL people, the people do not need to die. Religion is the weaker of the two, as man created religion, and man can not create anything greater than itself.BiancaDKhere we go.. x__x religion is merely an institution governed by man. It is not a singular entity. Man is to be blamed, after all, you said it yourself:

[QUOTE="Ownage_Delivery"][QUOTE="BiancaDK"] You can blame a butterfly for all the troubles of the world if you keep tracing correlations and connotations to its "roots".BiancaDKIt's true. [QUOTE="Ownage_Delivery"][QUOTE="JustPlainLucas"] I guess it comes from the judgemental side of my mom always looking down on them because her religious beliefs.BiancaDKExactly. See the problems religion causes? Even if you're not religious, your mother's religious beliefs/habits have infected you too. I'm glad you posted that Lucas. Thanks. :) In all honesty, it was his mother that caused the problem, not the religion itself. Trace it to it's roots...

Not a bit. :x
There's no need to panic, but there's a homosexual using your computer. He's even in the same room as you this very instance :o I don't think Theokhoth is gay I think he just pretends to be, to get attention. It's part of his "online personality", that goes along with this particular account. ;)I guess it comes from the judgemental side of my mom always looking down on them because her religious beliefs.JustPlainLucasExactly. A very good skeleton of a much more recent common ancestor between apes and humans would make some bigger waves, even then some will go on in their ignorance. Holyknight_CJI think you're right. Some people won't let go no matter how much evidence is placed in front of them. It's sad that people believe in such silly things, huh? These are our own kind!
[QUOTE="Ownage_Delivery"][QUOTE="Tiefster"]Body hair can actually go a long way in keeping you cool as it collects moisture. Its why it was ideal to be clean shaven back when we were nomads since if you had a beard and lived in a cold region your beard could collect moisture and cause your face to freeze and lose heat.TiefsterHmm... then why is it when the hair in still there, it feels really hot? And after I trim it down, it feels cooler, lighter, and fresher? My overall body temp. feels lower without the hair.I think it has to do with what we wear that makes it feel hot. If I wear silk or cotton when I'm hairy I feel incredibly cool and I used to having no hair, if I wear my running shorts or anything man made then its a different story. Most of my clothes are made from cotton. I usually go shirtless anyway. It feels cooler without the hair.
