550W is not very good, you should buy one of 800W's.

hi guys,, can i play final fantasy 7 on windows xp???? or is it only for windows 95???
do i need patches if so???

No you cannot run it on Windows XP because it's officially compatable with Windows 95 and above. (Windows 98 and Millenium)
I have a Dell Dimension 8300 (pretty old) and ive just bought some RAM for it. Heres the technical specifications for the system.
Now ive bought two sticks of 1GB PC 3200 184 PIN 400MHZ DDR DIMM RAM.....if that makes sense. I sloted them in to two of my slots and in the other two i left the two 256mb RAM sticks that ive had since i bought the system. Now when i turned it on, it recognised there was a change in memory, but it never acknowledged the new RAM. I now only have 512mb of ram, so the 2gb of new RAM was sitting there doing nothing. I definitely put it in right.
Anyway, im just wondering are there some steps to getting the RAM up and running? Or have i just bought more RAM that is completely incompatible with my system?
GazzaB
Hello,
If your 2x256MB of RAMs have different MHz like 2x256 have 333MHz DDR333, and your new RAMs 2x1GB have 400MHz DDR400, the problem could be there what the MHz are different from each other and the problem should be there.
Try to remove your 2x256MB of RAM and put that 2x1GB only, and try if they work.
Maybe this should help;
Edit the Battlefield 2142 shortcut, and set the resolution to desired specs. Also, be sure to change "+fullscreen" to "+widescreen" For example, the command line would look like this for a Dell 2005FPW:
"C: Program FilesEA GamesBattlefield 2142BF2142.exe" +widescreen 1 +szx 1680 +szy 1050
The resolution will work, and the FOV will be correct. However some 2D graphics may be off.
Confirmed to work with the demo.
- You can edit this place if that code doesn't work:
"C: Program FilesEA GamesBattlefield 2142BF2142.exe" +widescreen 1 +szx 1680 +szy 1050
Are the Fans working?
Or you CPU does not have enough power to run the all equipments.

Anyone know whether Guild wars (any) would work on my laptop?
Guild Wars, World of Warcraft, Neverwinter Nights, Oblivion, Knight Online, Slikroad, etc. All can run on your computer.
The list you quoted in its entiretyt is about GPU selection, not about Oblivion in particular, and just like the Geforce 6*** series, there were slower GF3s that weren't at all like the Ti-200 and Ti-500, so thus too slow for the game, same as the 6200 is. And OldBlivion can't help with newer, but rotten, VGAs, not at all (X300, X550, X1050, HD 2400, Geforce 7100, 8400, etc.) Kiwi_1
In fact true, but people who does not have money, they can play the Oblivion with that mode.
And GF3s are too slow for gaming but if people do not want to buy new cards they can find those type of mods like Oldblivion for other staff games.
