A ten year life cycle (ps3) 5-6 life cycle (360) I DON'T THINK SO!LittleYoshi
At current state of things saleswise, If Sony try to have a 10 year life cycle with ps3 they're DOOMED... becase then Microsoft will take over completly in the midst of that cycle with a new much more powerful console. So, actually, Sony can't afford having a 10 year life with the ps3, it has a too small market share for that. It was a completely different thing with the ps2. Microsoft is winning strategically too.
Even in japan sales is going up constantly, while ps3 sales is declining... last *** week had 360 at 23500 units sold vs the ps3 at 9900... ps3 winning? Not a f*cking chance!
I'm very happy with my ps3 and have absolutely no regrets in choosing this system. The ps3 has a very bright future and is already doing great.Eyes_of_Ice
lol... only people in major disappoinment use the frase "I'm very happy with my...." right?
[QUOTE="hillelslovak"]The main point that made me not buy it was that the cars dont get damaged. Realistic damage modeling has been done in racing games for years. I dont get it.dadeisvenm
ummm. no. surface damage has been done for years. Realistic damage model has NEVER been done. If Gran Turismo 5 could do it and not SURFACE DAMAGE like GRID, or TOCA or the like, It would be phenomenal. Currently the feel of the car it really good especially in cockpit view.
I hope you people know that a collision at 30 - 60 miles per hour can total cars.
The damage in GRID put cars in half or less, if you didn't know...
I think for some, banning others and giving bad reps is half their fun on XBL.g5velocity
Yup, sometimes you get bad rep just for beating people too bad in online matches (like gh for instance). They meet you a couple of times, and decide they don't like to loose, and give you bad rep to avoid you further on.
